God has exalted Jesus as Prince and Savior, offering repentance and forgiveness of sins. This is a gift, not just for Israel, but for everyone who believes. I encourage you to pray for Israel's salvation. Blessing this holy nation brings blessings in return. God’s grace and favor will become evident in your life when you hold His chosen people close to your heart. They are precious in His sight.
Remember this: never curse Israel. Speaking against them invites judgment and can bring real hardship into your life. Instead, let's lift them up in prayer and show the same love and forgiveness that God has shown us.
But you, Israel, are My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham, My friend.You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called from its remotest parts, and said to you, “You are My servant; I have chosen you and have not rejected you.”
Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God, the Lord alone!And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
“Now then,” he said, “put away the foreign gods in your midst, and stretch out your hearts to the Lord God of Israel!”
Be merciful, O Lord, to Your people Israel, whom You have redeemed, and lay not innocent blood in the midst of Your people Israel.” And the blood guilt will be forgiven them.
Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say: Return, backsliding Israel, says the Lord, and I will not cause My anger to fall on you. For I am merciful, says the Lord, and I will not keep anger forever.
Then the man said, “Your name will no more be called Jacob, but Israel. For you have fought with God and with men, and have prevailed.”
You are My witnesses, says the Lord, and My servant whom I have chosen that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me.
Yet now listen, O Jacob, My servant, and Israel, whom I have chosen.Who has formed a god or molded a graven image that is profitable for nothing?Behold, all his companions shall be ashamed; and the workmen, they are mere men. Let them all be gathered together; let them stand up, yet they shall fear; they shall be ashamed together.The smith with the tongs both works in the coals and fashions it with hammers, and works it with the strength of his arms. He becomes hungry, and his strength fails; He drinks no water and is faint.The carpenter stretches out his measuring line; he marks it out with a line; he fits it with planes, and he marks it out with the compass, and makes it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man, that it may remain in the house.He hews down cedars for himself, and takes the cypress and the oak, which he raises for himself among the trees of the forest. He plants a fir, and the rain makes it grow.Then it shall be for a man to burn, for he will take some of it and warm himself; he kindles it and bakes bread; he also makes a god and worships it; he makes it a graven image and bows down to it.He burns half of it in the fire; over this half he eats meat; he roasts it and is satisfied. Also he warms himself and says, “Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire.”And the rest he makes into a god, even his carved image. He falls down to it, and worships it, and prays to it, and says, “Deliver me, for you are my god.”They have not known nor understood; for He has shut their eyes so that they cannot see, and their hearts so that they cannot understand.No one considers in his heart, nor is there knowledge nor understanding to say, “I have burned part of it in the fire; I also have baked bread on the coals; I have roasted meat and eaten it; and shall I make the rest into an abomination? Shall I fall down to a block of wood?”Thus says the Lord who made you, and formed you from the womb, who will help you: Do not fear, O Jacob, My servant, and you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.
For Jacob My servant’s sake and Israel My chosen one, I have even called you by your name; I have named you, though you have not known Me.
Now therefore, if you will faithfully obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My special possession out of all the nations, for all the earth is Mine.And you will be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the Israelites.”
Now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul,to keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes which I am commanding you today for your good?
For you are a holy people to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you to be His special people, treasured above all peoples who are on the face of the earth.
‘You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I lifted you up on eagles’ wings, and brought you to Myself.Now therefore, if you will faithfully obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My special possession out of all the nations, for all the earth is Mine.And you will be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the Israelites.”
But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, although you are small among the tribes of Judah, from you will come forth for Me one who will be ruler over Israel. His origins are from of old, from ancient times.
O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is mercy, and with Him is abundant redemption.
And I will take you to Me for a people, and I will be to you a God. And you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
God exalted this Man to His right hand to be a Ruler and a Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.It will not be according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, because they broke My covenant, although I was a husband to them, says the Lord.But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law within them and write it in their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.They shall teach no more every man his neighbor and every man his brother, saying, “Know the Lord,” for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord, for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
I will cleanse them from all their iniquity whereby they have sinned against Me. And I will pardon all their iniquities whereby they have sinned and whereby they have transgressed against Me.
But He, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity and did not destroy them. He often restrained His anger, and did not stir up all His wrath;
You alone have I known of all the families of the earth; therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.
They shall teach no more every man his neighbor and every man his brother, saying, “Know the Lord,” for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord, for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
For what nation is there so great, who has a god so near to it as the Lord our God is in all things whenever we call on Him?
But now, thus says the Lord who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel: Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.
For thus says the Lord of Hosts: He has sent Me after glory to the nations which plunder you, for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.
if My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.The sons of foreigners shall build up your walls, and their kings shall minister to you; for in My wrath I struck you, but in My favor I have had mercy on you.Therefore, your gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day or night, so that men may bring to you the wealth of the nations, and that their kings may be brought.For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish, and those nations shall be utterly destroyed.The glory of Lebanon shall come to you, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box tree together, to beautify the place of My sanctuary; and I will make the place of My feet glorious.The sons also of those who afflicted you shall come bowing before you, and all those who despised you shall bow themselves down at the soles of your feet; and they shall call you, The City of the Lord, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel.Whereas you have been forsaken and hated so that no man went through you, I will make you an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.You shall also suck the milk of the nations and suck the breast of kings; then you shall know that I, the Lord, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.Instead of bronze I will bring gold, and instead of iron I will bring silver; and instead of wood, bronze; and instead of stones, iron. I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time.The nations shall come to your light and kings to the brightness of your rising.
For behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will restore the fortunes of My people Israel and Judah. The Lord says, I also will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.
For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all countries and will bring you into your own land.Then I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean. From all your filthiness and from all your idols, I will cleanse you.Also, I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.You will dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers. And you will be My people, and I will be your God.
Be strong and of a good courage. Fear not, nor be afraid of them, for the Lord your God, it is He who goes with you. He will not fail you, nor forsake you.”
He says, “It is a light thing that you should be My servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also make you a light to the nations so that My salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.”
I say then, has God rejected His people? God forbid! For I also am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.Let their eyes be darkened, so that they may not see, and always bow down their backs.”I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid! But through their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make them jealous.Now if their transgression means riches for the world, and their failure means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their fullness mean?For I am speaking to you Gentiles. So then, in as much as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry,if by any means I may make my kinsmen jealous and might save some of them.For if their rejection means the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance mean but life from the dead?If the first portion of the dough is holy, the batch is also holy. And if the root is holy, so are the branches.But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among them and became a partaker with them of the root and richness of the olive tree,do not boast against the branches. If you boast, remember you do not sustain the root, but the root sustains you.You will say then, “The branches were broken off, so that I might be grafted in.”God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah? How he pleads with God against Israel, saying,
Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country, your family, and your father’s house to the land that I will show you.Now there was a famine in the land, so Abram went down to Egypt to live there, for the famine was severe in the land.When he was getting near to Egypt, he said to Sarai his wife, “I know you are a beautiful woman.Therefore, when the Egyptians see you, they will say, ‘This is his wife.’ They will then kill me, but they will let you live.Say you are my sister so that I may be treated well for your sake. Then my life will be spared because of you.”So when Abram entered Egypt, the Egyptians saw that Sarai was very beautiful.The princes of Pharaoh saw her and commended her to Pharaoh, and she was taken into Pharaoh’s house.He treated Abram well for her sake, and he had sheep and livestock, male and female donkeys, male and female servants, and camels.But the Lord afflicted Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Abram’s wife, Sarai.So Pharaoh called Abram, and said, “What have you done to me? Why did you not tell me that she was your wife?Why did you say, ‘She is my sister’? I might have taken her as my wife. Now here is your wife; take her and leave.”I will make of you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him, and they sent him away with his wife and all that he had.I will bless those who bless you and curse him who curses you, and in you all families of the earth will be blessed.”
Say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will take the Israelites from among the nations where they have gone and will gather them on every side and bring them into their own land.And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel. And one king shall be king over them all. And they shall be two nations no more, nor shall they be divided into two kingdoms anymore.
In those days the house of Judah will walk with the house of Israel, and they will come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given to your fathers for an inheritance.
For the sake of Zion I will not keep silent, and for the sake of Jerusalem I will not rest until her righteousness goes forth as brightness and her salvation as a lamp that burns.
For as the new heavens and the new earth which I will make shall remain before Me, says the Lord, so shall your descendants and your name remain.
Comfort, O comfort, My people, says your God.Behold, the Lord God will come with a strong hand, and His arm shall rule for Him; behold, His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him.He shall feed His flock like a shepherd; He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and calculated the dust of the earth by the measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?Who has directed the Spirit of the Lord, or as His counselor has taught Him?With whom did He take counsel, and who instructed Him, and taught Him in the path of justice, and taught Him knowledge, and showed to Him the way of understanding?Behold, the nations are as a drop in a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance; behold, He takes up the coastlands like fine dust.Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor the beasts sufficient as a burnt offering.All nations before Him are as nothing, and they are counted by Him as less than nothing and meaningless.To whom then will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare to Him?The workman melts a graven image, and the goldsmith spreads it over with gold, and casts silver chains.Speak kindly to Jerusalem, and cry to her that her warfare has ended, that her iniquity has been pardoned, that she has received of the hand of the Lord double for all her sins.
Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever.As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people, from this time forth and forevermore.
The Lord roars from Zion, and sounds His voice from Jerusalem, and heaven and earth quake. But the Lord is a refuge for His people, and a stronghold for the Israelites.
Behold, I will bring it health and healing, and I will heal them; and I will reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.
Thus shall they know that I, the Lord their God, am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are My people, says the Lord God.
And many nations will come and say, “Come, that we might go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob, that He might teach us His ways, and that we might walk in His paths.” For from Zion will go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
For your maker is your husband, the Lord of Hosts is His name; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He shall be called the God of the whole earth.
a land for which the Lord your God cares. The eyes of the Lord your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year even to the end of the year.
O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is mercy, and with Him is abundant redemption.And He will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
who are Israelites, to whom belong the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises,to whom belong the patriarchs, and from whom, according to the flesh, is Christ, who is over all, God forever blessed. Amen.
Hear the word of the Lord, O nations, and declare it in the coastlands far off, and say, “He who scattered Israel will gather him and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock.”
Therefore say, Thus says the Lord God: I will gather you from the peoples and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
Thus says the Lord of Hosts: I will deliver My people from the eastern lands and from the western lands.And I will bring them, and they will reside in Jerusalem, and they will be for Me as a people, and I will be for them as God, with faithfulness and righteousness.
but Israel shall be saved by the Lord with an everlasting salvation; you shall not be ashamed nor humiliated to all eternity.
He has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
And who is like Your people, like Israel—a single nation in the land, whom God went to redeem as a people for Himself, making a name for Himself by doing great and awesome things for Your land, before Your people whom You redeemed for Yourself from Egypt, a nation and its gods.You established Your people Israel as Your own people forever, and You, Lord, became their God.

For the Lord will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land. Then the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.
For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord, because they called you an outcast, saying, “This is Zion whom no man cares for.”
The Lord has appeared to him from afar, saying: Indeed, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.
