I want to share something powerful with you. God has offered divine forgiveness to Israel. He's redeemed them, forgiven them. Think about that – innocent blood, forgiven. It’s a reminder of the incredible grace available to all of us.
God has exalted Jesus as Prince and Savior, offering repentance and forgiveness of sins. This is a gift, not just for Israel, but for everyone who believes. I encourage you to pray for Israel's salvation. Blessing this holy nation brings blessings in return. God’s grace and favor will become evident in your life when you hold His chosen people close to your heart. They are precious in His sight.
Remember this: never curse Israel. Speaking against them invites judgment and can bring real hardship into your life. Instead, let's lift them up in prayer and show the same love and forgiveness that God has shown us.
\{The Lord says\}:You were in a far away country,\par but I reached out to you.\par I called you from that faraway place.\par I said, ‘You are my servant.’\par I chose you.\par And I have not rejected you.\par
“Listen, people of Israel! The Lord is our God. The Lord is one!You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
Then Joshua said, “So throw away the false gods that you have among you. Love the Lord the God of Israel with all your heart.”
The Lord says this to the nation {\cf2\super [59]} of Israel:\par “Come looking for me and live.\par
Lord, you saved Israel. We are your people. Now make us pure. [128] Don’t blame us for killing an innocent man.’ In this way, those men will not be blamed for killing an innocent man.
Then the man said, “Your name will not be Jacob. Your name will now be Israel. [191] I give you this name because you have fought with God and with men, and you have not been defeated.”
The Lord says, “You people are my witnesses. You are the servant that I chose. I chose you so you would help people to believe me. I chose you so you would understand that ‘I Am He’—\{I am the true God\}. There was no God before me, and there will be no God after me.
“Jacob, you are my servant. Listen to me! Israel, I chose you. Hear the things I say!I am the Lord, and I made you. I am the One who made you to be what you are. I have helped you since the time you were in your mother’s body. Jacob, my servant, don’t be afraid. Jeshurun, {\cf2\super [391]} I chose you.
I do these things for my servant, Jacob.\par I do these things for my chosen people, Israel.\par \{Cyrus,\} I am calling you by name.\par You don’t know me,\par but I am calling you by name.\par
So now I tell you to obey my commands. Keep my Agreement. If you do this, then you will be my own special people. The whole world belongs to me. But I am choosing you to be my own special people. You will be a special nation—a kingdom of priests.’ Moses, you must tell the people of Israel what I have said.”
“Now, people of Israel, listen! What does the Lord your God really want from you? The Lord wants you to respect him and do what he says. God wants you to love him and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.So obey the laws and commands of the Lord that I am giving you today. These laws and commands are for your own good.
Why? Because you are the Lord’s own people. From all the people on earth, the Lord your God chose you to be his special people—people that belong only to him.
‘You people have seen what I can do to my enemies. You saw what I did to the people of Egypt. You saw that I carried you out of Egypt like an eagle and brought you here to me.So now I tell you to obey my commands. Keep my Agreement. If you do this, then you will be my own special people. The whole world belongs to me. But I am choosing you to be my own special people. You will be a special nation—a kingdom of priests.’ Moses, you must tell the people of Israel what I have said.”
But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,\par are the smallest town in Judah.\par Your family is almost too small to count.\par But the “Ruler of Israel”\par will come from you for me.\par His beginnings {\cf2\super [60]} are from ancient times,\par from long, long ago.\par
Israel, trust the Lord.\par True love is found only with the Lord.\par The Lord saves us again and again.\par And the Lord will forgive Israel for all their sins.\par \par \par
\{The Lord says\}:You were in a far away country,\par but I reached out to you.\par I called you from that faraway place.\par I said, ‘You are my servant.’\par I chose you.\par And I have not rejected you.\parDon’t worry, I am with you.\par Don’t be afraid, I am your God.\par I will make you strong.\par I will help you.\par I will support you with my good\par right hand.\par
You will be my people and I will be your God. I am the Lord your God, and you will know that I made you free from Egypt.
Jesus is the One that God raised to his right side. God made Jesus our Leader and Savior. God did this so that all Jews can change their hearts and lives. Then God can forgive their sins.
The Lord said these things, “The time is coming when I will make a new Agreement {\cf2\super [259]} with the family of Israel, and with the family of Judah. It will not be like the Agreement I made with their ancestors. {\cf2\super [260]} I made that Agreement when I took them by the hand and brought them out of Egypt. I was their Master, but they broke that Agreement.” This message is from the Lord.“In the future, I will make this Agreement {\cf2\super [261]} with the people of Israel.” This message is from the Lord. “I will put my teachings in their minds, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.People will not have to teach their neighbors and relatives to know the Lord. Why? Because all people, from the least important to the greatest, will know me.” This message is from the Lord. “I will forgive them for the bad things they did. I won’t remember their sins.”
They sinned against me—but I will wash away that sin. They fought against me—but I will forgive them.
But God was merciful.\par He forgave them for their sins.\par And he did not destroy them.\par Many times God controlled his anger.\par He didn‘t let himself become too angry.\par
“There are many families on earth. But you are the only family I chose to know in a special way. \{And you turned against me.\} So I will punish you for all your sins.”
People will not have to teach their neighbors and relatives to know the Lord. Why? Because all people, from the least important to the greatest, will know me.” This message is from the Lord. “I will forgive them for the bad things they did. I won’t remember their sins.”
“The Lord our God is near when we ask him to help us. No other nation has a god like that!
Pray for peace in Jerusalem.\par “I hope the people who love you\par will find peace there.\par I hope there will be peace\par inside your walls.\par I hope there will be safety\par in your great buildings.”\par
Jacob, the Lord made you! Israel, the Lord made you! And now the Lord says, “Don’t be afraid! I saved you. I named you. You are mine.
and if my people who are called by my name become humble and pray, and look for me, and turn away from their evil ways, then I will hear them from heaven. And I will forgive their sin and I will heal their land.
“Jerusalem, my light, get up!\par Your Light (God) is coming!\par The Glory of the Lord {\cf2\super [451]} will shine on you.\parDarkness now covers the earth\par and the people are in darkness.\par But the Lord will shine on you,\par and his Glory will appear on you.\parThe nations will come to your Light (God).\par Kings will come to your bright Light.\par
Do this because the days will come”—this message is from the Lor —“when I will bring my people, Israel and Judah, back from exile.” {\cf2\super [231]} This message is from the Lord. “I will put those people back in the land that I gave to their ancestors. {\cf2\super [232]} Then my people will own that land again.”
\{God said,\} “I will take you out of those nations, gather you together, and bring you back to your own land. Then I will sprinkle pure water on you and make you pure. I will wash away all your filth. I will wash away the filth from those nasty idols and make you pure.”\{God said,\} “I will also put a new spirit in you \{and change your way of thinking\}. I will take out the heart of stone from your body and give you a tender, human heart. And I will put my Spirit inside you. {\cf2\super [282]} I will change you so you will obey my laws. You will carefully obey my commands. Then you will live in the land that I gave to your ancestors. {\cf2\super [283]} You will be my people, and I will be your God.”
The Lord is our God.\par The Lord rules the whole world. {\cf2\super [547]} \parRemember God’s Agreement {\cf2\super [548]} forever.\par Remember his commands for 1,000 generations!\parGod made an Agreement with Abraham.\par God made a promise to Isaac.\parThen he made it a law for Jacob.\par God made his Agreement with Israel.\par It will continue forever!\parGod said,\par “I will give you the land of Canaan.\par That land will belong to you.”\par
Be strong and be brave. Don’t be afraid of those people! Why? Because the Lord your God is with you. He will not fail you or leave you.”
“You are a very important servant to me.\par The people of Israel are prisoners,\par but they will be brought back to me.\par Jacob’s family groups will come back to me.\par But, you have another job;\par it is even more important than this!\par I will make you a light for all nations.\par You will be my way to save\par all the people on earth.”\par
So I ask, “Did God throw out his people?” No! I myself am an Israelite (Jew). I am from the family of Abraham, {\cf2\super [114]} from the family group of Benjamin.God chose the Israelites to be his people before \{they were born\}. And God did not throw out those people. Surely you know what the Scripture {\cf2\super [115]} says about Elijah. {\cf2\super [116]} The Scripture tells about Elijah praying to God against the people of Israel. Elijah said,
The Lord said to Abram, “Leave your country and your people. Leave your father’s family and go to the country I will show you.I will build a great nation from you. I will bless you and make your name famous. People will use your name to bless other people.I will bless people who bless you, and I will curse people who curse [71] you. I will use you to bless all the people on earth.”
Tell the people that the Lord and Master says these things: ‘I will take the people of Israel from among the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around, and I will bring them into their own land.I will make them one nation in the land on the mountains of Israel. One king will be king for all of them. They won’t continue to be two nations. They won’t be divided into two kingdoms any more.
The Lord built Jerusalem.\par God brought back the Israelite people\par who were taken as prisoners.\par
In those days, the family of Judah will join the family of Israel. They will come together from a land in the north. They will come to the land I gave to their ancestors. {\cf2\super [18]}
“I love Zion,\par so I will continue to speak for her.\par I love Jerusalem,\par so I will not stop speaking.\par I will speak until goodness shines\par like a bright light.\par I will speak until salvation burns bright\par like a flame.\par
“I will make a new world—and the new heavens and the new earth \{will last forever\}. In the same way, your names and your children will always be with me.
The Lord will make you his own special people, like he promised. The Lord will do this if you follow the Lord your God and obey his commands. Then all the people in that land will see that you are called by the name of the Lord. And they will be afraid of you.
Your God says,\par “Comfort, comfort my people!\parSpeak kindly to Jerusalem!\par Tell Jerusalem,\par ‘Your time of service is finished.\par You have paid the price for your sins.’”\par The Lord punished Jerusalem—\par twice for every sin she did.\par
People who trust in the Lord\par will be like Mount Zion.\par They will never be shaken.\par They will continue forever.\parMountains are all around Jerusalem.\par And the Lord is around his people.\par He will protect his people forever and ever.\par
The Lord God will shout from Zion, {\cf2\super [33]} \par He will shout from Jerusalem,\par and the sky and the earth will shake.\par But the Lord God will be a safe place\par for his people.\par He will be a place of safety\par for the people of Israel.\par
“But then I will heal the people in that city. I will let those people enjoy peace and safety.
Then they will know that I am the Lord their God. And they will know that I am with them. And the family of Israel will know that they are my people!” The Lord my Master said those things!
People from many nations will go there.\par They will say,\par “Come, let’s go up to the Lord’s mountain.\par Let’s go to the temple of the God of Jacob.\par Then God will teach us his way of living.\par And we will follow him.”\par
Why? Because your husband {\cf2\super [429]} \par is the One (God) who made you.\par His name is the Lord All-Powerful.\par He is the Protector {\cf2\super [430]} of Israel.\par He is the Holy One of Israel.\par And he will be called\par the God of all the earth!\par
The Lord your God cares for that land! The Lord your God watches over that land, from the beginning to the end of the year.
Israel, trust the Lord.\par True love is found only with the Lord.\par The Lord saves us again and again.\par And the Lord will forgive Israel for all their sins.\par \par \par
\{The Lord said,\}“I loved Israel when he was a child,\par and I called my son out of Egypt.\par
They are the people of Israel. {\cf2\super [73]} Those people (the Jews) are God’s chosen children. Those people have the glory of God and the agreements that God made between himself and his people. God gave them the law \{of Moses\} and the \{temple\} worship. And God gave his promises to those people (the Jews). Those people are the descendants {\cf2\super [74]} of our great fathers. {\cf2\super [75]} And they are the earthly family of Christ. Christ is God over all things. Praise him forever! {\cf2\super [76]} Amen.
“Nations, listen to this message\par from the Lord!\par Tell this message in the faraway lands\par by the sea:\par ‘God scattered the people of Israel\par But God will bring them back together.\par And he will watch over his flock (people)\par like a shepherd.’\par
But you must tell those people that the Lord their Master will bring them back. I have scattered you among many nations. But I will gather you together and bring you back from those nations. I will give the land of Israel back to you!
The Lord All-Powerful says, “Look, I am rescuing my people from countries in the east and west.I will bring them back here, and they will live in Jerusalem. They will be my people, and I will be their good and faithful God.”
But Israel will be saved by the Lord.\par That salvation will continue forever.\par Never, never again will Israel be shamed.\par
The Lord showed the nations\par his power to save.\par The Lord showed them his goodness.\par
“And there is no nation on earth like your people, the people of Israel. They are a special people. {They were slaves,} but you took them out of Egypt and made them free. You made them your people. You did great and wonderful things for the Israelites. You did wonderful things for your land. You made the people of Israel your very own people forever. And Lord, you became their God.
Then Moses climbed up the mountain to meet with God. God spoke to him on the mountain and said, “Tell these things to the people of Israel, the great family of Jacob:‘You people have seen what I can do to my enemies.
\{In the future,\} the Lord will again show his love to Jacob. The Lord will again choose the people of Israel. \{At that time,\} the Lord will give those people their land. Then non-Jewish people {\cf2\super [146]} will join themselves to the Jewish people. Both people will join and become one family—Jacob’s family.
And I will bring your health back.\par And I will heal your wounds.”\par This message is from the Lord.\par “Why? Because other people\par said you were outcasts. {\cf2\super [241]} \par Those people said,\par ‘No one cares about Zion. {\cf2\super [242]} ’”\par
The Lord’s share is his people; Jacob (Israel) belongs to the Lord.“The Lord found Jacob (Israel) in a desert land, an empty, windy land. The Lord surrounded Jacob to watch over him. He protected him, like the pupil of his eye.
