When I truly repent and humble myself before God, I know He is faithful and just to forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. It's through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross that I can receive this forgiveness. It's such a gift.
And you know, it makes me think about how God wants me to extend that same grace to others. He wants me to reflect His love to everyone around me, to be a reflection of Jesus in every moment. It's a challenge sometimes, but it's so important.
Forgiving others, I've found, is really about freeing myself. It's about healing those deep wounds and finding freedom from bitterness. It's not easy, but it's so worth it.
I want to practice gratitude and turn away from sin, coming to God with a repentant heart, knowing He will always forgive me. And hopefully, I can pay that forward and offer forgiveness just as freely as I've received it.
“For if you forgive others their sins, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.But if you do not forgive others, your Father will not forgive you your sins.
Instead, be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you.
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace
if my people, who belong to me, humble themselves, pray, seek to please me, and repudiate their sinful practices, then I will respond from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

and he himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for our sins but also for the whole world.
He delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of the Son he loves,in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
“For I will be merciful toward their evil deeds, and their sins I will remember no longer.”
Certainly O Lord, you are kind and forgiving, and show great faithfulness to all who cry out to you.
And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick and the Lord will raise him up – and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Therefore, although God has overlooked such times of ignorance, he now commands all people everywhere to repent,

Brothers and sisters, if a person is discovered in some sin, you who are spiritual restore such a person in a spirit of gentleness. Pay close attention to yourselves, so that you are not tempted too.
The one who forgives an offense seeks love, but whoever repeats a matter separates close friends.
for this is my blood, the blood of the covenant, that is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

The wicked need to abandon their lifestyle and sinful people their plans. They should return to the Lord, and he will show mercy to them, and to their God, for he will freely forgive them.

A person’s wisdom makes him slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense.
And even though you were dead in your transgressions and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, he nevertheless made you alive with him, having forgiven all your transgressions.He has destroyed what was against us, a certificate of indebtedness expressed in decrees opposed to us. He has taken it away by nailing it to the cross.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.But they are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
Just then some people brought to him a paralytic lying on a stretcher. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Have courage, son! Your sins are forgiven.”
