When I truly repent and humble myself before God, I know He is faithful and just to forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. It's through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross that I can receive this forgiveness. It's such a gift.
And you know, it makes me think about how God wants me to extend that same grace to others. He wants me to reflect His love to everyone around me, to be a reflection of Jesus in every moment. It's a challenge sometimes, but it's so important.
Forgiving others, I've found, is really about freeing myself. It's about healing those deep wounds and finding freedom from bitterness. It's not easy, but it's so worth it.
I want to practice gratitude and turn away from sin, coming to God with a repentant heart, knowing He will always forgive me. And hopefully, I can pay that forward and offer forgiveness just as freely as I've received it.
For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.
Instead, be kind to one another, tender-hearted, graciously forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has graciously forgiven you.
For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our transgressions, according to the riches of His grace
and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their evil ways, then I will listen from heaven, I will forgive their sin, and I will heal their land.
“And do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned.
And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions.
bearing with one another, and graciously forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone, just as the Lord graciously forgave you, so also should you.
Therefore let it be known to you, brothers, that through Him forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you,
“Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.
And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him, but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him.
and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.
Who rescued us from the authority of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
For You, Lord, are good, and by nature forgiving, And abundant in lovingkindness to all who call upon You.
And the prayer offered in faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.
Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now commanding men that everyone everywhere should repent,
Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
But one whom you graciously forgive anything, I graciously forgive also. For indeed what I have graciously forgiven, if I have graciously forgiven anything, I did it for your sakes in the presence of Christ, so that no advantage would be taken of us by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his schemes.

Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; According to the abundance of Your compassion blot out my transgressions. ¶Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation And sustain me with a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners will be converted to You. ¶Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, the God of my salvation; Then my tongue will joyfully sing of Your righteousness. O Lord, open my lips, That my mouth may declare Your praise. For You do not delight in sacrifice, otherwise I would give it; You are not pleased with burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. ¶By Your favor do good to Zion; Build the walls of Jerusalem. Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed. On that day, the one who is on the housetop and whose goods are in the house must not go down to take them out, and likewise the one who is in the field must not turn back. Remember Lot’s wife. Whoever seeks to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it. I tell you, on that night there will be two in one bed; one will be taken and the other will be left. There will be two women grinding grain at the same place; one will be taken and the other will be left. Brothers, even if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, each of you looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted.
He who covers a transgression seeks love, But he who repeats a matter separates close companions.
for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.

not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but giving a blessing instead, for you were called for the very purpose that you might inherit a blessing.

And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ But the father said to his slaves, ‘Quickly bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet, and bring the fattened calf, slaughter it, and let us eat and celebrate, for this son of mine was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.’ And they began to celebrate.

How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered! Many are the sorrows of the wicked, But he who trusts in Yahweh, lovingkindness shall surround him. Be glad in Yahweh and rejoice, you righteous ones; And shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart. How blessed is the man whose iniquity Yahweh will not take into account, And in whose spirit there is no deceit!
Let the wicked forsake his way And the unrighteous man his thoughts; And let him return to Yahweh, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.
If you forgive the sins of any, their sins have been forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they have been retained.”
A man’s insight makes him slow to anger, And it is his honor to overlook a transgression.
And you being dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive with Him, having graciously forgiven us all our transgressions. Having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us which was hostile to us, He also has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
“Do not judge, so that you will not be judged. Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him! “Therefore, in all things, whatever you want people to do for you, so do for them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is narrow and the way is constricted that leads to life, and there are few who find it. “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with what measure you measure, it will be measured to you.
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;
And behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralytic, “Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven.”
it does not act unbecomingly, does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered;
