for I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; And that which he hath given will he pay him again.
and if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day:
Defend the poor and fatherless: Do justice to the afflicted and needy.Deliver the poor and needy: Rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.
Blessed is he that considereth the poor: The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, And raise me up, that I may requite them.By this I know that thou favourest me, Because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, And settest me before thy face for ever.Blessed be the LORD God of Israel From everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen. The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: And thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: Thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: But he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor.
But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;that thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:and yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.that thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,and went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:but thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: But he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.
Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem. It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.
Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: Which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: The LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: The LORD loveth the righteous:The LORD preserveth the strangers; He relieveth the fatherless and widow: But the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:and thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.
If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury. If thou at all take thy neighbour's raiment to pledge, thou shalt deliver it unto him by that the sun goeth down:for that is his covering only, it is his raiment for his skin: wherein shall he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear; for I am gracious.
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;that they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; Yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
When thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands. And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife. When thou beatest thine olive tree, thou shalt not go over the boughs again: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow. When thou gatherest the grapes of thy vineyard, thou shalt not glean it afterward: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened:but by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality:as it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack.
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.
But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: Thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, That the man of the earth may no more oppress.
Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, When it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof:but the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.
The LORD preserveth the strangers; He relieveth the fatherless and widow: But the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, He shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.
As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, And lifteth the needy out of the dunghill; That he may set him with princes, Even with the princes of his people.
When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled;then thou shalt say before the LORD thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandments which thou hast commanded me: I have not transgressed thy commandments, neither have I forgotten them:
Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, Than to divide the spoil with the proud.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.
And all that believed were together, and had all things common;and sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
The liberal soul shall be made fat: And he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.
For the oppression of the poor, For the sighing of the needy, Now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.
The proud have forged a lie against me: But I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, When I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.Their heart is as fat as grease; But I delight in thy law.
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
Rob not the poor, because he is poor: Neither oppress the afflicted in the gate:For the LORD will plead their cause, And spoil the soul of those that spoiled them.
And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.
I have been young, and now am old; Yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
and the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, He also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.
But I am poor and needy; Yet the Lord thinketh upon me: Thou art my help and my deliverer; Make no tarrying, O my God.
Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: But the wicked regardeth not to know it.
But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
The humble shall see this, and be glad: And your heart shall live that seek God.For the LORD heareth the poor, And despiseth not his prisoners.
Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child. If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry;and my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.
Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labours.
For the LORD God is a sun and shield: The LORD will give grace and glory: No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; His righteousness endureth for ever; His horn shall be exalted with honour.
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Let brotherly love continue. We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle. For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly. But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: For his mercy endureth for ever.To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: For his mercy endureth for ever:And brought out Israel from among them: For his mercy endureth for ever:With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: For his mercy endureth for ever.To him which divided the Red sea into parts: For his mercy endureth for ever:And made Israel to pass through the midst of it: For his mercy endureth for ever:But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: For his mercy endureth for ever.To him which led his people through the wilderness: For his mercy endureth for ever.To him which smote great kings: For his mercy endureth for ever:And slew famous kings: For his mercy endureth for ever:Sihon king of the Amorites: For his mercy endureth for ever:O give thanks unto the God of gods: For his mercy endureth for ever. And Og the king of Bashan: For his mercy endureth for ever:And gave their land for an heritage: For his mercy endureth for ever:Even an heritage unto Israel his servant: For his mercy endureth for ever.Who remembered us in our low estate: For his mercy endureth for ever:And hath redeemed us from our enemies: For his mercy endureth for ever.Who giveth food to all flesh: For his mercy endureth for ever.O give thanks unto the God of heaven: For his mercy endureth for ever.O give thanks to the Lord of lords: For his mercy endureth for ever.
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: And thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; The poor also, and him that hath no helper. He shall spare the poor and needy, And shall save the souls of the needy. He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: And precious shall their blood be in his sight.
he doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.
And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; And plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, and laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.
Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.
There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; And there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.
Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, As thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.
Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
Let Israel hope in the LORD: For with the LORD there is mercy, And with him is plenteous redemption.
Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: Which keepeth truth for ever:
Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; Yea, our God is merciful. The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: Thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.
A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: And the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.
But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints. For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem. It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.
and said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.
He shall judge the poor of the people, He shall save the children of the needy, And shall break in pieces the oppressor.
Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, Even Aaron's beard: That went down to the skirts of his garments;
Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
I love the LORD, Because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:I said in my haste, all men are liars. What shall I render unto the LORD For all his benefits toward me?I will take the cup of salvation, And call upon the name of the LORD.I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: Thou hast loosed my bonds.I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, And will call upon the name of the LORD.I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,In the courts of the LORD's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, Therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
Bless the LORD, O my soul: And all that is within me, bless his holy name.He hath not dealt with us after our sins; Nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, So great is his mercy toward them that fear him.As far as the east is from the west, So far hath he removed our transgressions from us.Like as a father pitieth his children, So the LORD pitieth them that fear him.For he knoweth our frame; He remembereth that we are dust.As for man, his days are as grass: As a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; And the place thereof shall know it no more. But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, And his righteousness unto children's children; To such as keep his covenant, And to those that remember his commandments to do them. The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; And his kingdom ruleth over all.Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits:Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, That do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; Ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: Bless the LORD, O my soul.Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases;Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; So that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
