Imagine finally owning your own home. It's such a blessing, and you naturally want God's presence to fill it, right? You want your family to feel His peace and love within those walls. I know I do.
It's easy to think about how blessed we are to have a roof over our heads, and we should absolutely thank God for providing for us. Everything we have comes from Him. Taking a moment to dedicate our home to Him is a powerful way to acknowledge that. Coming together as a family, with joyful hearts, to thank Him just feels right.
And you know what else is powerful? Speaking God's promises out loud, every day, right there in your home. It's like keeping a spiritual light on, illuminating your family with Jesus' love. It reminds us of His constant presence and the amazing things He has in store. It's like 2 Samuel 7:29 says, "Now be pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever in your sight; for you, Sovereign Lord, have spoken, and with your blessing the house of your servant will be blessed forever."1

And if it seemeth evil to you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
