113 Bible verses about the Resurrection

113 Bible verses about the Resurrection

Christ's redemption truly comes alive through His resurrection. Because Jesus died and God raised Him from the dead, we can experience a life of freedom today. Think about it: Jesus chose to die for you, knowing you're imperfect, so your sins could be forgiven through His blood. That's real love.

When you hear "resurrection," let it remind you of Jesus' sacrifice. Take a moment to reflect on what He did and be truly thankful in your heart for His grace. Remembering His suffering helps you appreciate everything He's done for you and understand how He can transform you from the inside out.

Through the power of His resurrection, everything is made new. The sick find healing, the oppressed find freedom, marriages are restored, and our spirits are revived in the name above all names: Jesus of Nazareth. Just as God raised Him up, He will raise us up too (1 Corinthians 6:14).

1 Corinthians 15:20-22

But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.

Therefore I exhort you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a sacrifice—living, holy, and pleasing to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. being devoted to one another in brotherly love, giving preference to one another in honor, not lagging behind in diligence, being fervent in spirit, serving the Lord, rejoicing in hope, persevering in affliction, being devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, pursuing hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep, by being of the same mind toward one another, not being haughty in mind, but associating with the humble. Do not be wise in your own mind. Never paying back evil for evil to anyone, respecting what is good in the sight of all men, if possible, so far as it depends on you, being at peace with all men, never taking your own revenge, beloved—instead leave room for the wrath of God. For it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may approve what the will of God is, that which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Prayer

My Lord, Your name is holy and awesome; nothing compares to Your holiness! I pray to You, God, in the name of Jesus Christ, my Savior, who conquered sin and death through His resurrection. I confess all my sins before You because I long for Your mercy over my life every single day. Your word says, "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus." Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests. For Your immense glory, I adore You, I bless You, and I give You thanks, Lord God, Almighty Father, Lamb of God, thank You for the gift of salvation and for freeing me from the eternal torment of hell. Despite the anguish, the pain, and the sorrows You endured, You achieved ultimate victory over death to give me life. You nullified the decrees that had been established against me and shattered the curse of sin. I ask You, Lord, that Your Holy Spirit reveal to me the power that is in Your death and resurrection; fill my heart with Your presence so that I may manifest Your greatness to the world. Through Your precious blood, You have saved me and redeemed me from sin. Forgive and dissolve my sins and guide me to do what is right at all times, especially when I feel despair. Remind me that You suffered and gave up Your life so that I could be here now. I ask now that You place upon me Your power and the anointing of Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
