After a long day, nothing's better for you than some good rest. Your body's always sending you signals when something's not right, so it's important to pay attention. Rest is crucial for both your physical and mental health.
These days, so many of us are dealing with mental exhaustion more than physical, thanks to the everyday demands of life. It can really steal your peace and make it hard to trust in God. Lack of rest can make you irritable, lose focus on what truly matters, and slip into a complaining mindset, forgetting to be grateful.
Being exhausted affects everything – your productivity, your ability to enjoy the things you normally do. And quick fixes aren't going to cut it. The only real source of rest and renewal is Jesus Christ. Trips, shopping sprees, hanging out with friends – those things can be nice distractions, but only the presence of the Holy Spirit can bring true relief.
The good news is, God offers rest to those who are weary, burdened, and overwhelmed. The peace that comes from Him is unlike anything this world offers, and it lasts forever.
Matthew 11:28 invites all those who labor and are heavy laden to find rest in Jesus. There's no other sure way to find deep, lasting rest. If you've tried everything and still feel weighed down, it's time to turn to the best source there is: God. He's the ultimate therapist, the place where you'll find the strength to keep going and enjoy life again.
Let God's love bring you serenity. Take a deep breath and release all that exhaustion in Jesus' name. Just like the Psalmist David, you can say, "Return, O my soul, to your rest; for the Lord has dealt bountifully with you" (Psalm 116:7).
יהוה is my shepherd; I do not lack.He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters.He turns back my being; He leads me in paths of righteousness For His Name’s sake.
In vain do you rise up early, To sit up late, to eat the bread of toil; So He gives His beloved sleep.
but those who wait on יהוה renew their strength, they raise up the wing like eagles, they run and are not weary, they walk and do not faint.
And the Elohim of expectation fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you overflow with expectation by the power of the Set-apart Spirit.
Dalet Rest in יהוה, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man doing wicked devices.
יהוה is my shepherd; I do not lack.He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters.
Do not worry then, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’“For all these the nations seek for. And your heavenly Father knows that you need all these.
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, Who abides under the shadow of the Almighty,No evil befalls you, And a plague does not come near your tent;For He commands His messengers concerning you, To guard you in all your ways.They bear you up in their hands, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.You tread upon lion and cobra, Young lion and serpent you trample under foot.“Because he cleaves to Me in love, Therefore I deliver him; I set him on high, Because he has known My Name.When he calls on Me, I answer him; I am with him in distress; I deliver him and esteem him.”With long life I satisfy him, And show him My deliverance.He is saying of יהוה, “My refuge and my stronghold, My Elohim, in whom I trust!”
He does not allow your foot to be moved; He who watches over you does not slumber.See, He who is guarding Yisra’ĕl Neither slumbers nor sleeps.
“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am meek and humble in heart, and you shall find rest for your beingsand said to Him, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?”“For My yoke is gentle and My burden is light.”
Let us therefore do our utmost to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience.
Be still, and know that I am Elohim; I am exalted among nations, I am exalted in the earth!
Better is a hand filled with rest than both hands filled with toil and feeding on wind.
And I said, “Who would give me wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.“See, I would wander far off, I would lodge in the wilderness. Selah.
Do not worry at all, but in every matter, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to Elohim.And the peace of Elohim, which surpasses all understanding, shall guard your hearts and minds through Messiah יהושע.
“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am meek and humble in heart, and you shall find rest for your beings
When you lie down, you need not be afraid. And you shall lie down and your sleep shall be sweet.
For the one, having entered into His rest, has himself also rested from his works, as Elohim rested from His own.
to whom He said, “This is the rest, give rest to the weary,” and, “This is the refreshing.” But they would not hear.
O Elohim, You are my Ěl; I earnestly seek You; My being has thirsted for You; My flesh has longed for You In a dry and thirsty land without water.
And in the seventh day Elohim completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.So the man gave names to all livestock, and to the birds of the heavens, and to every beast of the field. But for the man there was not found a helper for him, as his counterpart.So יהוה Elohim caused a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he slept. And He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.And the rib which יהוה Elohim had taken from the man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.And the man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. This one is called ‘woman,’ because she was taken out of man.”For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.And they were both naked, the man and his wife, yet they were not ashamed.And Elohim blessed the seventh day and set it apart, because on it He rested from all His work which Elohim in creating had made.
For we who have believed do enter into that rest, as He has said, “As I swore in My wrath, if they shall enter into My rest...” And yet His works have come into being from the foundation of the world.
For Dawiḏ said, “יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl has given rest to His people, and He dwells in Yerushalayim forever,”
“If you do turn back your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on My set-apart day, and shall call the Sabbath ‘a delight,’ the set-apart day of יהוה ‘esteemed,’ and shall esteem it, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words,then you shall delight yourself in יהוה. And I shall cause you to ride on the heights of the earth, and feed you with the inheritance of Ya‛aqoḇ your father. For the mouth of יהוה has spoken!”
And My people shall dwell in a home of peace, and in safe dwellings, and in undisturbed resting places,
I call upon you, therefore, brothers, through the compassion of Elohim, to present your bodies a living offering – set-apart, well-pleasing to Elohim – your reasonable worship.In brotherly love, tenderly loving towards one another, in appreciation, giving preference to each other;not idle in duty, ardent in spirit, serving the Master;rejoicing in the expectancy, enduring under pressure, continuing steadfastly in prayer;imparting to the needs of the set-apart ones, pursuing kindness towards strangers.Bless those who persecute you – bless and do not curse.Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not be proud in mind, but go along with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation.Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is right in the sight of all men.If possible, on your part, be at peace with all men.Beloved, do not revenge yourselves, but give place to the wrath, for it has been written, “Vengeance is Mine, I shall repay,” says יהוה.And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you prove what is that good and well-pleasing and perfect desire of Elohim.
And you shall trust, because there is expectancy. And when you have searched you shall lie down in safety.
in order that your belief should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of Elohim.
It is good to give thanks to יהוה, And to sing praises to Your Name, O Most High;But You lift up my horn like a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.And my eye looks upon my enemies; My ears hear the evil-doers Who rise up against me.The righteous one flourishes like a palm tree, He grows like a cedar in Leḇanon.Those who are planted in the House of יהוה Flourish in the courts of our Elohim.They still bear fruit in old age; They are fresh and green,To declare that יהוה is straight, My rock, and in Him is no unrighteousness.To declare Your loving-commitment in the morning, And Your trustworthiness each night,
See, a son is to be born to you, who is a man of rest. And I shall give him rest from all his enemies all around, for Shelomoh is his name, and peace and rest I give to Yisra’ĕl in his days.
Though I walk in the midst of distress, You revive me; You stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand saves me.
But I have trusted in Your loving-commitment; My heart rejoices in Your deliverance.I sing to יהוה, Because He has been good to me.
And let the peace of Elohim rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one Body, and be filled with thanks.
And we know that all matters work together for good to those who love Elohim, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Then made His own people go forth like sheep, And led them in the wilderness like a flock.And He led them on safely, And they did not fear, But the sea covered their enemies.

Hear my cry, O Elohim, Listen to my prayer.From the end of the earth I call unto You, When my heart is faint; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
Let your way of life be without the love of silver, and be satisfied with what you have. For He Himself has said, “I shall never leave you nor forsake you,”so that we boldly say, “יהוה is my helper, I shall not fear what man shall do to me.”
And my Elohim shall fill all your need according to His riches in esteem by Messiah יהושע.
I love יהוה, because He has heard my voice, my pleas.I have believed, for I speak; I have been greatly afflicted.I said in my haste, “All men are liars.”What shall I return to יהוה? You are my hiding place; You preserve me from distress; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.
Elohim is our refuge and strength, A help in distress, soon found.Be still, and know that I am Elohim; I am exalted among nations, I am exalted in the earth!יהוה of hosts is with us; The Elohim of Ya‛aqoḇ is our refuge. Selah.Therefore we do not fear, Though the earth reels And mountains topple into the heart of the seas.Let its waters rage, foam; Let mountains shake with its swelling. Selah.
When I said, “My foot has slipped,” Your loving-commitment, O יהוה, supported me.When anxiety was great within me, Your comforts delighted my being.
“Do not, then, worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow shall have its own worries. Each day has enough evil of itself.
And the Elohim of peace Himself set you completely apart, and your entire spirit, and being, and body - be preserved blameless at the coming of our Master יהושע Messiah!
Let those who delight in my righteous cause Shout for joy and be glad, And let them always say, “Let יהוה be made great, Who is desiring the peace of His servant.”
Truly, He has borne our sicknesses and carried our pains. Yet we reckoned Him smitten, stricken by Elohim, and afflicted.
Not that I speak concerning need, for I have learned to be content in whatever state I am.I know what it is to be humbled, and I know what it is to have in excess. In any and every situation I have learned both to be filled, and to be hungry, both to have in excess, and to be in need.
And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not grow weary.
I lift up my eyes to the hills; Where does my help come from?My help comes from יהוה, Maker of the heavens and earth.
“And even the hairs of your head are all numbered.“So do not fear, you are worth more than many sparrows.
Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not look around, for I am your Elohim. I shall fortify you, I shall also help you, I shall also uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.’
Therefore, let us come boldly to the throne of favour, in order to receive compassion, and find favour for timely help.
Therefore, having been declared right by belief, we have peace with Elohim through our Master יהושע Messiah,

The meek ones do eat and are satisfied; Let those who seek Him praise יהוה. Let your heart live forever!
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, trustworthiness,gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no Torah.
“Let Me instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; Let Me counsel, My eye be on you.
in which you exult, even though for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by manifold trials,in order that the proving of your belief – much more precious than gold that perishes, and proven by fire – might be found to result in praise and respect and esteem at the revelation of יהושע Messiah,
There is, then, now no condemnation to those who are in Messiah יהושע, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.And if Messiah is in you, the body is truly dead on account of sin, but the Spirit is life on account of righteousness.And if the Spirit of Him who raised יהושע from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Messiah from the dead shall also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit dwelling in you.So then, brothers, we are not debtors to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.For if you live according to the flesh, you are going to die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you shall live.For as many as are led by the Spirit of Elohim, these are sons of Elohim.For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of Elohim,and if children, also heirs – truly heirs of Elohim, and co-heirs with Messiah, if indeed we suffer with Him, in order that we also be exalted together.For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the esteem that is to be revealed in us.For the intense longing of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of Elohim.For the torah of the Spirit of the life in Messiah יהושע has set me free from the torah of sin and of death.
When I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil. For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
“Comfort, comfort My people!” says your Elohim.See, the Master יהוה comes with strength, and His arm rules for Him. See, His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him.He feeds His flock like a shepherd, He gathers the lambs with His arm, and carries them in His bosom, gently leading those who are with young.Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and measured the heavens with a span, and contained the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance?Who has meted out the Spirit of יהוה, or as His counsellor taught Him?With whom did He take counsel, and who instructed Him, and taught Him in the path of right-ruling? Who taught Him knowledge, and showed Him the way of understanding?See, nations are as a drop in a bucket, and are reckoned as dust on the balance. See, He lifts up isles as fine dust.And Leḇanon is not enough to burn, nor its beasts enough for an ascending offering.All nations before Him are as a non-entity, and they are reckoned by Him as less than a speck, and emptiness.And to whom would you liken Ěl? And what likeness would you compare to Him?The workman moulds a graven image, and the goldsmith overspreads it with gold, and the silversmith casts silver chains.“Speak to the heart of Yerushalayim, and cry out to her, that her hard service is completed, that her crookedness is pardoned, that she has received from the hand of יהוה double for all her sins.”
I waited, waited for יהוה; And He inclined to me, and heard my cry.I did not conceal Your righteousness within my heart; I have declared Your trustworthiness and Your deliverance; I did not hide Your loving-commitment and Your truth From the great assembly.Do not withhold Your compassion from me, O יהוה; Let Your loving-commitment and Your truth always watch over me.For evils without number have surrounded me; My crookednesses have overtaken me, And I have been unable to see; They became more than the hairs of my head; And my heart has failed me.Be pleased, O יהוה, to deliver me; O יהוה, hasten to help me!Let those who seek to destroy my life Be ashamed and abashed altogether; Let those who are desiring my evil Be driven back and put to shame.Let those who say to me, “Aha, aha!” Be appalled at their own shame.Let all those who seek You Rejoice and be glad in You; Let those who love Your deliverance always say, “יהוה be exalted!”But I am poor and needy; Let יהוה think upon me. You are my help and my deliverer; O my Elohim, do not delay!And He drew me Out of the pit of destruction, Out of the muddy clay, And He set my feet upon a rock, He is establishing my steps.Then He put a new song in my mouth; Praise to our Elohim; Many do see it and fear, And trust in יהוה.
You show me the path of life; In Your presence is joy to satisfaction; At Your right hand are pleasures forever.
teaching them to guard all that I have commanded you. And see, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” Amĕn.
Tet You have done good to Your servant, O יהוה, According to Your word.Teach me good sense and knowledge, For I have trusted in Your commands.
And the Elohim of endurance and encouragement give you to be of the same mind toward one another, according to Messiah יהושע,that with one mind and one mouth, you might praise the Elohim and Father of our Master יהושע Messiah.
And this is the boldness that we have in Him, that if we ask whatever according to His desire, He hears us.And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
And let us be concerned for one another in order to stir up love and good works,not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging, and so much more as you see the day coming near.
“Blessed be יהוה, who has given rest to His people Yisra’ĕl, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good word, which He promised through His servant Mosheh.
For thus said the Master יהוה, the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl, “In returning and rest you are saved, in stillness and trust is your strength.” But you would not,
Thus said יהוה, “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; and find rest for yourselves. But they said, ‘We do not walk in it.’
