There's a kind of prosperity that isn't of this world, not fleeting, that doesn't fade with time, but stays constant no matter what. It's the prosperity that comes from God, the kind that's eternal, the kind that isn't based on how much money you have, but on the growth of your inner self.
It's true that God wants you to prosper in every way, but this happens as your soul prospers, meaning, every time you overcome your fears and crises, you grow as a person and become better each day.
Joshua 1:8 says: "Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful." So many people prosper without having God in their hearts, but they don't enjoy that prosperity because they don't meditate on God's word. They prefer to stray from His commandments and statutes. In the end, they're just people who had a good run, but not the joy of living in freedom.
God doesn't want that for His children. That's why, before He makes you prosperous, He'll shape you so you don't lose yourself because of money, since "the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil." So, you need to walk according to the foundations the Father established in the Bible so you can live well and your path will be prosperous.
Love God above all else, let Him be first in your life, and He will be pleased with you, blessing everything you do, granting you favor with others, and His grace will be with you wherever you go.
Deuteronomy 8:18 reminds us: "But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today."
“If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored; If you remove unrighteousness far from your tent, And put your gold in the dust, And the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brooks, Then the Almighty will be your gold And choice silver to you. “For then you will delight in the Almighty And lift up your face to God. “You will entreat Him, and He will hear you; And you will pay your vows.
For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘plans for peace and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope.
Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says Yahweh of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and empty out for you a blessing until it is beyond enough.
He who cultivates his land will be satisfied with bread, But he who pursues empty things lacks a heart of wisdom.
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.”
On the first day of every week each one of you is to set something aside, saving whatever he has prospered, so that no collections be made when I come.
For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
Keep worthlessness and every false word far from me, Give me neither poverty nor riches; Feed me with the food that is my portion, Lest I be full and deny You and say, “Who is Yahweh?” Or lest I be impoverished and steal, And profane the name of my God.
And God is able to make every grace abound to you, so that in everything at every time having every sufficiency, you may have an abundance for every good deed;
The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; But they who inquire of Yahweh shall not be in want of any good thing.
¶Be still in Yahweh and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who carries out schemes of wickedness.
Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of Yahweh your God which He has given you.
Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty or to set their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. Command them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed.
For this reason I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted to you.
And the people saw them going, and many recognized them and ran there together on foot from all the cities, and got there ahead of them. And when Jesus went ashore, He saw a large crowd, and He felt compassion for them because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and He began to teach them many things.
“Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh And whose trust is Yahweh. “And he will be like a tree planted by the water, That sends forth its roots by a stream And will not fear when the heat comes; But its leaves will be green, And it will not be anxious in a year of drought Nor refrain from yielding fruit.
Sow your seed in the morning and do not put your hands down in the evening, for you do not know whether morning or evening sowing will succeed, or whether both of them alike will be good.
Evil pursues sinners, But the righteous are repaid with good. A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, And the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.
I was young and now I am old, Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken Or his seed begging bread.
He who conceals his transgressions will not prosper, But he who confesses and forsakes them will receive compassion.
The instruction of the wise is a fountain of life, To turn aside from the snares of death.
“I love those who love me; And those who earnestly seek me will find me. “Riches and glory are with me, Enduring wealth and righteousness.
For it is You who blesses the righteous one, O Yahweh, You surround him with favor as with a large shield.
How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the way of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of Yahweh, And in His law he meditates day and night. And he will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.
So you shall keep the words of this covenant to do them, that you may prosper in all that you do.
And Yahweh will make you abound in prosperity, in the offspring of your body and in the offspring of your beast and in the produce of your ground, in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers to give you.
Yahweh will command the blessing upon you in your barns and in all that you send forth your hand to do, and He will bless you in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.
But you shall remember Yahweh your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
Unless Yahweh builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless Yahweh watches the city, The watchman keeps awake in vain.
The thoughts of the diligent lead surely to profit, But everyone who is hasty comes surely to poverty.
Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.”
Then you will succeed, if you are careful to do the statutes and the judgments which Yahweh commanded Moses concerning Israel. Be strong and courageous, do not fear nor be dismayed.
Only be strong and very courageous to be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn aside from it to the right or to the left, so that you may be prosperous wherever you go. This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way successful, and then you will be prosperous.
Then Yahweh your God will prosper you abundantly in all the work of your hand, in the offspring of your body and in the offspring of your cattle and in the produce of your ground, for Yahweh will return to rejoice over you for good, just as He rejoiced over your fathers,
“Then it will be, when Yahweh your God brings you into the land which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give you, great and good cities which you did not build, and houses full of all good things which you did not fill, and hewn cisterns which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant, and you will eat and be satisfied, then beware, lest you forget Yahweh who brought you from the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.
And my God will fulfill all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”— in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though being rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.
Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
So I responded to them with a word and said to them, “The God of heaven will give us success; therefore we His slaves will arise and build, but you have no portion, right, or remembrance in Jerusalem.”
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
Praise Yah! How blessed is the man who fears Yahweh, Who greatly delights in His commandments. ¶The wicked will see it and be vexed, He will gnash his teeth and melt away; The desire of the wicked will perish. His seed will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches are in his house, And his righteousness stands forever.
And Yahweh was with Joseph, so he became a successful man. And he was in the house of his master, the Egyptian.
How blessed is everyone who fears Yahweh, Who walks in His ways. When you shall eat of the fruit of the labor of your hands, How blessed will you be and how well will it be for you.
But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone.
But you shall serve Yahweh your God, and He will bless your bread and your water; and I will remove sickness from your midst.
¶Yahweh is the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You support my lot. The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Indeed, my inheritance is beautiful to me.
Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, “I am Yahweh your God, who teaches you to profit, Who leads you in the way you should go.
“For to everyone who has, more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away.
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.
¶Let them shout for joy and be glad, who delight in my righteousness; And let them say continually, “Yahweh be magnified, Who delights in the peace of His slave.”
“Now it will be, if you diligently listen to the voice of Yahweh your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I am commanding you today, Yahweh your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. So all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by the name of Yahweh, and they will be afraid of you. And Yahweh will make you abound in prosperity, in the offspring of your body and in the offspring of your beast and in the produce of your ground, in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers to give you. Yahweh will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. And Yahweh will make you the head and not the tail, and you only will be above, and you will not be underneath, if you listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God, which I am commanding you today, to keep and to do, and do not turn aside from any of the words which I am commanding you today, to the right or to the left, to walk after other gods to serve them. “But it will be, if you do not listen to the voice of Yahweh your God, to keep and to do all His commandments and His statutes with which I am commanding you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you: “Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the field. “Cursed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. “Cursed shall be the offspring of your body and the produce of your ground, the increase of your herd and the young of your flock. “Cursed shall you be when you come in, and cursed shall you be when you go out. And all these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you listen to the voice of Yahweh your God:
May Yahweh give you increase, You and your children. May you be blessed of Yahweh, Who made heaven and earth.
Furthermore, as for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, He has also empowered him to eat from them and to take up his portion and be glad in his labor; this is the gift of God.
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.
Instead of your shame you will have a double portion, And instead of dishonor they will shout for joy over their portion. Therefore they will possess a double portion in their land; Everlasting gladness will be theirs.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.
“ Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may approve what the will of God is, that which is good and pleasing and perfect.
For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.
wisdom and knowledge have been given to you. And I will give you riches and wealth and glory, such as none of the kings who were before you had nor those who will come after you.”
When you shall eat of the fruit of the labor of your hands, How blessed will you be and how well will it be for you.
He will work out the desire of those who fear Him; He will hear their cry for help and He will save them.
“No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the inheritance of the slaves of Yahweh, And their righteousness is from Me,” declares Yahweh.
Behold, these are the wicked; And always at ease, they have increased in wealth. Surely in vain I have kept my heart pure And washed my hands in innocence;
He who is gracious to a poor man lends to Yahweh, And He will repay him for his bountiful deed.
And he will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.
¶They all wait for You To give them their food in due season. You give to them, they gather it up; You open Your hand, they are satisfied with good.
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. “Therefore, when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be glorified by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal;
And Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year one hundredfold. And Yahweh blessed him, and the man became great and continued to grow greater until he became very great;
“I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden wealth of secret places, So that you may know that it is I, Yahweh, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name.
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him,
¶May Yahweh bless you from Zion, That you may see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life.
I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.
Yet those who hope in Yahweh Will gain new power; They will mount up with wings like eagles; They will run and not get tired; They will walk and not become weary.
They will not be ashamed in the time of evil, And in the days of famine they will be satisfied.
Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty or to set their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.
“But who am I and who are my people that we should be able to offer as willingly as this? For all things come from You, and from Your hand we have given You.
He who indeed did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him graciously give us all things?
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.
“And Yahweh will continually guide you, And satisfy your soul in scorched places, And fortify your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.
And I know that when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of the blessing of Christ.
¶I will rejoice greatly in Yahweh; My soul will rejoice in my God, For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with a headdress, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
moreover, that every man who eats and drinks and sees good in all his labor—it is the gift of God.
¶Many are saying, “Who will show us good?” Lift up the light of Your face upon us, O Yahweh! You have put gladness in my heart, More than when their grain and new wine abound.
House and wealth are an inheritance from fathers, But a wife who has insight is from Yahweh.
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning.
Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed and increase the harvest of your righteousness;
Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy. He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying his bag of seed, Shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, carrying his sheaves with him.
And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or farms for My name’s sake, will receive one hundred times as much, and will inherit eternal life.
Yahweh remembered us; He will bless! He will bless the house of Israel. He will bless the house of Aaron.
The righteous man will flourish like the palm tree, He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
¶Who is the man who fears Yahweh? He will instruct him in the way he should choose. His soul will abide in goodness, And his seed will inherit the land.
To grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a headdress instead of ashes, The oil of rejoicing instead of mourning, The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of Yahweh, that He may show forth His beautiful glory.
You have also given me the shield of Your salvation, And Your right hand upholds me; And Your gentleness makes me great.
And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing;
And if you offer your soul to the hungry And satisfy the soul of the afflicted, Then your light will rise in darkness And your thick darkness will become like midday. “And Yahweh will continually guide you, And satisfy your soul in scorched places, And fortify your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.
¶How great is Your goodness, Which You have stored up for those who fear You, Which You have worked for those who take refuge in You, Before the sons of men!
And you shall keep the responsibility given by Yahweh your God, to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, according to what is written in the Law of Moses, that you may be prosperous in all that you do and wherever you turn,
God causes the lonely to inhabit a home; He leads out the prisoners into prosperity, Only the rebellious dwell in a parched land.
Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.
