96 Verses about the Promise of the Kingdom of God

Do not be afraid, little flock, because your Father has chosen to give you the kingdom.

And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’

There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of armies will accomplish this.

Now I say this, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

“The kingdom of heaven is like a king who held a wedding feast for his son.

When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is the one sown with seed beside the road.

Soon afterward, Jesus began going around from one city and village to another, proclaiming and preaching the kingdom of God. The twelve were with Him,

and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the weeds are the sons of the evil one;

¶Now it will come about that In the last days The mountain of the house of the Lord Will be established as the chief of the mountains, And will be raised above the hills; And all the nations will stream to it.On that day people will throw away to the moles and the bats Their idols of silver and their idols of gold, Which they made for themselves to worship,In order to go into the clefts of the rocks and the crannies of the cliffs Before the terror of the Lord and the splendor of His majesty, When He arises to terrify the earth.Take no account of man, whose breath of life is in his nostrils; For why should he be esteemed?And many peoples will come and say, “Come, let’s go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; So that He may teach us about His ways, And that we may walk in His paths.” For the law will go out from Zion And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

But seek His kingdom, and these things will be provided to you.

Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their foreheads and on their hands; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

Then the sovereignty, the dominion, and the greatness of all the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the saints of the Highest One; His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all the empires will serve and obey Him.’

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea.And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,having the glory of God. Her brilliance was like a very valuable stone, like a stone of crystal-clear jasper.It had a great and high wall, with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names were written on the gates, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel.There were three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west.And the wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.The one who spoke with me had a gold measuring rod to measure the city, its gates, and its wall.The city is laid out as a square, and its length is as great as the width; and he measured the city with the rod, twelve thousand stadia; its length, width, and height are equal.And he measured its wall, 144 cubits, by human measurements, which are also angelic measurements.The material of the wall was jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass.The foundation stones of the city wall were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation stone was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald;And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And He was saying to them, “To you has been given the mystery of the kingdom of God, but for those who are outside, everything comes in parables,

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down, the one who accuses them before our God day and night.

And Jesus said to His disciples, “Truly I say to you, it will be hard for a rich person to enter the kingdom of heaven.And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.”

And Jesus said to them, “Therefore every scribe who has become a disciple of the kingdom of heaven is like a head of a household, who brings out of his treasure new things and old.”

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has been treated violently, and violent men take it by force.

And He raised His eyes toward His disciples and began saying, “Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.

“ Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

and just as My Father has granted Me a kingdom, I grant youAnd Satan entered Judas, the one called Iscariot, who belonged to the number of the twelve.that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all.”

To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of things regarding the kingdom of God.

for I say to you, I shall not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”

But when they believed Philip as he was preaching the good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were being baptized.

The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness,

Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And Your dominion endures throughout all generations. The Lord is faithful in His words, And holy in all His works.

And the Lord will be King over all the earth; on that day the Lord will be the only one, and His name the only one.

Then the righteous will shine forth like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. The one who has ears, let him hear.

“For just as the new heavens and the new earth, Which I make, will endure before Me,” declares the Lord, “So will your descendants and your name endure.

The one who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat with My Father on His throne.

‘Ask it of Me, and I will certainly give the nations as Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth as Your possession.

and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end.”

But the crowds were aware of this and followed Him; and He welcomed them and began speaking to them about the kingdom of God, and curing those who had need of healing.

then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to our God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power.

“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to reward each one as his work deserves.

And Jesus said to them, “Truly I say to you, that you who have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on His glorious throne, you also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

¶“For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former things will not be remembered or come to mind.

“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”

And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illuminate them; and they will reign forever and ever.

“And to Him was given dominion, Honor, and a kingdom, So that all the peoples, nations, and populations of all languages Might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion Which will not pass away; And His kingdom is one Which will not be destroyed.

“But about that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.

Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all.”

They will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord As the waters cover the sea.

And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom!”And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

But if I cast out the demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

But the saints of the Highest One will receive the kingdom and take possession of the kingdom forever, for all ages to come.’

Jesus responded and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you.

For the kingdom of God is not in words, but in power.

But Jesus said, “Leave the children alone, and do not forbid them to come to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let’s show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe;

Listen, my beloved brothers and sisters: did God not choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?

And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever.

and heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered fish of every kind;

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

He presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a person took and sowed in his field;and this is smaller than all the other seeds, but when it is fully grown, it is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the sky come and nest in its branches.”

Now He was questioned by the Pharisees as to when the kingdom of God was coming, and He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God is not coming with signs that can be observed;nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst.”

For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,

“Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

“Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.

“The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid again; and from joy over it he goes and sells everything that he has, and buys that field.

for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent and believe in the gospel.”

Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

and said, “Truly I say to you, unless you change and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.

Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.”

and He made us into a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

‘ Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.

preaching the kingdom of God and teaching things about the Lord Jesus Christ with all openness, unhindered.

“For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard.

The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Now when one of those who were reclining at the table with Him heard this, he said to Him, “Blessed is everyone who will eat bread in the kingdom of God!”

¶The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, And His sovereignty rules over all.

But Jesus said to him, “No one, after putting his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness.

And Jesus was saying to them, “Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God when it has come with power.”

“The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John came; since that time the gospel of the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it.

And He said to them, “Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children for the sake of the kingdom of God,Now there was a widow in that city, and she kept coming to him, saying, ‘Give me justice against my opponent.’who will not receive many times as much at this time, and in the age to come, eternal life.”

And He was saying, “The kingdom of God is like a man who casts seed upon the soil;and he goes to bed at night and gets up daily, and the seed sprouts and grows—how, he himself does not know.The soil produces crops by itself; first the stalk, then the head, then the mature grain in the head.Now when the crop permits, he immediately puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”

But regarding the Son He says, “Your throne, God, is forever and ever, And the scepter of righteousness is the scepter of His kingdom.

And He said to them, “When you pray, say: ‘ Father, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come.

for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.

He spoke another parable to them: “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three sata of flour until it was all leavened.”

And He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to perform healing.

so that you would walk in a manner worthy of the God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.

“Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the groom.

and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm.”

You have made them into a kingdom and priests to our God, and they will reign upon the earth.”

This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

And Jesus answered them, “To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted.
