96 Verses about the Promise of the Kingdom of God

My little group of disciples, don't be afraid! Your Father wants to give you the kingdom.

As you go, announce that the kingdom of heaven will soon be here.

His power will never end; peace will last forever. He will rule David's kingdom and make it grow strong. He will always rule with honesty and justice. The LORD All-Powerful will make certain that all of this is done.

My friends, I want you to know that our bodies of flesh and blood will decay. This means that they cannot share in God's kingdom, which lasts forever.

The kingdom of heaven is like what happened when a king gave a wedding banquet for his son.

The seeds that fell along the road are the people who hear the message about the kingdom, but don't understand it. Then the evil one comes and snatches the message from their hearts.

Soon after this, Jesus was going through towns and villages, telling the good news about God's kingdom. His twelve apostles were with him,

The field is the world, and the good seeds are the people who belong to the kingdom. The weed seeds are those who belong to the evil one,

In the future, the mountain with the LORD's temple will be the highest of all. It will reach above the hills; every nation will rush to it.Many people will come and say, "Let's go to the mountain of the LORD God of Jacob and worship in his temple." The LORD will teach us his Law from Jerusalem, and we will obey him.

But put God's work first, and these things will be yours as well.

I saw thrones, and sitting on those thrones were the ones who had been given the right to judge. I also saw the souls of the people who had their heads cut off because they had told about Jesus and preached God's message. They were the same ones who had not worshiped the beast or the idol, and they had refused to let its mark be put on their hands or foreheads. They will come to life and rule with Christ for a thousand years.

"Then the greatest kingdom of all will be given to the chosen ones of God Most High. His kingdom will be eternal, and all others will serve and obey him."

I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The first heaven and the first earth had disappeared, and so had the sea.Then I saw New Jerusalem, that holy city, coming down from God in heaven. It was like a bride dressed in her wedding gown and ready to meet her husband.

He answered: I have explained the secret about God's kingdom to you, but for others I can use only stories.

Then I heard a voice from heaven shout, "Our God has shown his saving power, and his kingdom has come! God's own Chosen One has shown his authority. Satan accused our people in the presence of God day and night. Now he has been thrown out!

Jesus said to his disciples, "It's terribly hard for rich people to get into the kingdom of heaven!In fact, it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to get into God's kingdom."

So he told them, "Every student of the Scriptures who becomes a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like someone who brings out new and old treasures from the storeroom."

From the time of John the Baptist until now, violent people have been trying to take over the kingdom of heaven by force.

Jesus looked at his disciples and said: God will bless you people who are poor. His kingdom belongs to you!

God blesses those people who depend only on him. They belong to the kingdom of heaven!

So I will give you the right to rule as kings, just as my Father has given me the right to rule as a king.You will eat and drink with me in my kingdom, and you will each sit on a throne to judge the twelve tribes of Israel.

I promise you that you cannot get into God's kingdom, unless you accept it the way a child does."

For forty days after Jesus had suffered and died, he proved in many ways that he had been raised from death. He appeared to his apostles and spoke to them about God's kingdom.

I tell you that I will not eat another Passover meal until it is finally eaten in God's kingdom."

But when they believed what Philip was saying about God's kingdom and about the name of Jesus Christ, they were all baptized.

The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather from his kingdom everyone who does wrong or causes others to sin.

Your kingdom will never end, and you will rule forever. Our LORD, you keep your word and do everything you say.

Then there will be only one LORD who rules as King and whose name is worshiped everywhere on earth.

But everyone who has done right will shine like the sun in their Father's kingdom. If you have ears, pay attention!

I also promise that you will always have descendants and will never be forgotten, just as the new heavens and the new earth that I create will last forever.

Everyone who wins the victory will sit with me on my throne, just as I won the victory and sat with my Father on his throne.

Ask me for the nations, and every nation on earth will belong to you.

He will rule the people of Israel forever, and his kingdom will never end."

You should pray like this: Our Father in heaven, help us to honor your name.Come and set up your kingdom, so that everyone on earth will obey you, as you are obeyed in heaven.

But a lot of people found out about this and followed him. Jesus welcomed them. He spoke to them about God's kingdom and healed everyone who was sick.

Then after Christ has destroyed all powers and forces, the end will come, and he will give the kingdom to God the Father.

Then I was told: I am coming soon! And when I come, I will reward everyone for what they have done.

Jesus answered: Yes, all of you have become my followers. And so in the future world, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, I promise that you will sit on twelve thrones to judge the twelve tribes of Israel.

I am creating new heavens and a new earth; everything of the past will be forgotten.

He said, "Turn back to God! The kingdom of heaven will soon be here."

Never again will night appear, and no one who lives there will ever need a lamp or the sun. The Lord God will be their light, and they will rule forever.

He was crowned king and given power and glory, so that all people of every nation and race would serve him. He will rule forever, and his kingdom is eternal, never to be destroyed.

No one knows the day or hour. The angels in heaven don't know, and the Son himself doesn't know. Only the Father knows.

You will never get into God's kingdom unless you enter it like a child!"

Nothing harmful will take place on the LORD's holy mountain. Just as water fills the sea, the land will be filled with people who know and honor the LORD.

Then he said to Jesus, "Remember me when you come into power!"Jesus replied, "I promise that today you will be with me in paradise."

But when I force out demons by the power of God's Spirit, it proves that God's kingdom has already come to you.

But God Most High will give his kingdom to his chosen ones, and it will be theirs forever and ever."

Jesus replied, "I tell you for certain that you must be born from above before you can see God's kingdom!"

But more than anything else, put God's work first and do what he wants. Then the other things will be yours as well.

God's kingdom isn't just a lot of words. It is power.

But Jesus said, "Let the children come to me, and don't try to stop them! People who are like these children belong to God's kingdom."

We should be grateful that we were given a kingdom that cannot be shaken. And in this kingdom we please God by worshiping him and by showing him great honor and respect.

My dear friends, pay attention. God has given a lot of faith to the poor people in this world. He has also promised them a share in his kingdom that he will give to everyone who loves him.

During the time of those kings, the God who rules from heaven will set up an eternal kingdom that will never fall. It will be like the stone that was cut from the mountain, but not by human hands--the stone that crushed the iron, bronze, clay, silver, and gold. Your Majesty, in your dream the great God has told you what is going to happen, and you can trust this interpretation.

Heal their sick and say, "God's kingdom will soon be here!"

The kingdom of heaven is like what happens when a net is thrown into a lake and catches all kinds of fish.

But you are God's chosen and special people. You are a group of royal priests and a holy nation. God has brought you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Now you must tell all the wonderful things that he has done. The Scriptures say,

Jesus told them another story: The kingdom of heaven is like what happens when a farmer plants a mustard seed in a field.Although it is the smallest of all seeds, it grows larger than any garden plant and becomes a tree. Birds even come and nest on its branches.

Some Pharisees asked Jesus when God's kingdom would come. He answered, "God's kingdom isn't something you can see.There is no use saying, 'Look! Here it is' or 'Look! There it is.' God's kingdom is here with you."

God rescued us from the dark power of Satan and brought us into the kingdom of his dear Son,

Then the king will say to those on his right, "My father has blessed you! Come and receive the kingdom that was prepared for you before the world was created.

God blesses those people who are treated badly for doing right. They belong to the kingdom of heaven.

Not everyone who calls me their Lord will get into the kingdom of heaven. Only the ones who obey my Father in heaven will get in.

The kingdom of heaven is like what happens when someone finds treasure hidden in a field and buries it again. A person like that is happy and goes and sells everything in order to buy that field.

God's kingdom isn't about eating and drinking. It is about pleasing God, about living in peace, and about true happiness. All this comes from the Holy Spirit.

He said, "The time has come! God's kingdom will soon be here. Turn back to God and believe the good news!"

Jesus answered: I tell you for certain that before you can get into God's kingdom, you must be born not only by water, but by the Spirit.

Then he said: I promise you this. If you don't change and become like a child, you will never get into the kingdom of heaven.

Don't you know that evil people won't have a share in the blessings of God's kingdom? Don't fool yourselves! No one who is immoral or worships idols or is unfaithful in marriage or is a pervert or behaves like a homosexualwill share in God's kingdom. Neither will any thief or greedy person or drunkard or anyone who curses and cheats others.

At the sound of the seventh trumpet, loud voices were heard in heaven. They said, "Now the kingdom of this world belongs to our Lord and to his Chosen One! And he will rule forever and ever!"

He lets us rule as kings and serve God his Father as priests. To him be glory and power forever and ever! Amen.

Come and set up your kingdom, so that everyone on earth will obey you, as you are obeyed in heaven.

He bravely preached about God's kingdom and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ, and no one tried to stop him.

As Jesus was telling what the kingdom of heaven would be like, he said: Early one morning a man went out to hire some workers for his vineyard.

The Lord will always keep me from being harmed by evil, and he will bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. Praise him forever and ever! Amen.

After Jesus had finished speaking, one of the guests said, "The greatest blessing of all is to be at the banquet in God's kingdom!"

God has set up his kingdom in heaven, and he rules the whole creation.

Jesus answered, "Anyone who starts plowing and keeps looking back isn't worth a thing to God's kingdom!"

Jesus went to every town and village. He taught in their meeting places and preached the good news about God's kingdom. Jesus also healed every kind of disease and sickness.

I can assure you that some of the people standing here will not die before they see God's kingdom come with power.

Until the time of John the Baptist, people had to obey the Law of Moses and the Books of the Prophets. But since God's kingdom has been preached, everyone is trying hard to get in.

Jesus answered, "You can be sure that anyone who gives up home or wife or brothers or family or children because of God's kingdomwill be given much more in this life. And in the future world they will have eternal life."

Again Jesus said: God's kingdom is like what happens when a farmer scatters seed in a field.The farmer sleeps at night and is up and around during the day. Yet the seeds keep sprouting and growing, and he doesn't understand how.It is the ground that makes the seeds sprout and grow into plants that produce grain.Then when harvest season comes and the grain is ripe, the farmer cuts it with a sickle.

But God says about his Son, "You are God, and you will rule as King forever! Your royal power brings about justice.

So Jesus told them, "Pray in this way: 'Father, help us to honor your name. Come and set up your kingdom.

Then our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will give you a glorious welcome into his kingdom that will last forever.

Jesus also said: The kingdom of heaven is like what happens when a woman mixes a little yeast into three big batches of flour. Finally, all the dough rises.

Then he sent them to tell about God's kingdom and to heal the sick.

We begged, encouraged, and urged each of you to live in a way that would honor God. He is the one who chose you to share in his own kingdom and glory.

The kingdom of heaven is like what happened one night when ten girls took their oil lamps and went to a wedding to meet the groom.

His Spirit lets us know that together with Christ we will be given what God has promised. We will also share in the glory of Christ, because we have suffered with him.

Jesus answered, "My kingdom doesn't belong to this world. If it did, my followers would have fought to keep me from being handed over to the Jewish leaders. No, my kingdom doesn't belong to this world."

You let them become kings and serve God as priests, and they will rule on earth."

When the good news about the kingdom has been preached all over the world and told to all nations, the end will come.

Jesus answered: I have explained the secrets about the kingdom of heaven to you, but not to others.
