98 Verses about the Promise of Restoration

Who is a God like You, lifting off iniquity and passing by the transgression of the remnant of His possession? He does not make strong His anger forever, for He delights in mercy.He will return to pity us; He will subdue our iniquities. Yea, You will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

Seek Jehovah while He may be found; call on Him while He is near.Let the wicked one forsake his way and the man of iniquity his thoughts, and let him turn back to Jehovah, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will multiply to pardon.

For the seed will have prosperity, the vine shall give its fruit, and the ground shall give its produce, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to inherit all these.

Afflicted ones and the needy ones seek water, and there is not any; their tongue is parched for thirst. I, Jehovah will answer them, the God of Israel; I will not leave them.I will open rivers in bare places, and springs of water in the midst of valleys; I will make the desert for a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.

then Jehovah your God will turn your captivity, and He will have pity on you, and will return and gather you from all the nations where Jehovah your God has scattered you.

the voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of those saying, Praise Jehovah of Hosts, for Jehovah is good, for His mercy endures forever; those who shall bring the sacrifice of thanksgiving into the house of Jehovah. For I will bring back the captivity of the land, as at the first, says Jehovah.

Roll your way on Jehovah and trust in Him; and He will work.

even to old age I am He; and I will bear to gray hair; I made, and I will lift up; and I will bear and deliver.

Therefore straighten up the having been weakened hands “and the having been enfeebled knees;”“and make straight tracks for your feet,” that the lame one not be turned aside, but rather healed. Isa. 35:3; Prov. 4:26

Heal me, O Jehovah, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved; for You are my praise.

And He said, If listening you listen to the voice of Jehovah your God, and do what is right in His eyes, and you give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will not put on you all the diseases which I have put on Egypt; for I am Jehovah your Healer.

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

So the Lord Jehovah says this: Now I will return the captivity of Jacob and will have mercy on all the house of Israel. And I will be jealous for My holy name.

For a little moment I have left you, but I will gather you with great compassions.

I will heal their backslidings; I will love them freely; for My anger has turned away from him.

Therefore we do not fail in heart, but if indeed our outward man is being consumed, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

to appoint to the mourning ones of Zion, to give them beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of the spirit of infirmity, so that one calls them trees of righteousness, the planting of Jehovah, in order to beautify Himself.

And the prayer of faith will save the one being sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he may have committed sin, it will be forgiven him.

The wilderness and dry land shall rejoice for them; and the desert shall exult and bloom like the crocus.Blooming, it shall bloom and exult; yea, with joy and singing. Lebanon’s glory shall be given to it, the honor of Carmel and Sharon; they shall see the glory of Jehovah, the honor of our God.

But we know that to the ones loving God all things work together for good, to the ones being called out ones according to purpose;

Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; break out into singing, O mountains. For Jehovah has comforted His people and will have pity on His afflicted ones.

The thief does not come except that he may steal, and kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life and may have it abundantly.

For, behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will turn back the captivity of My people Israel and Judah, says Jehovah; and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.

He gives strength to the faint, and to him with no vigor He increases power.

In that day I will gather the lame one, a statement of Jehovah, and I will gather the one banished, and she whom I have broken.And I will set the lame one into a remnant, and she having been removed far off into a strong nation. And Jehovah shall reign over them in Mount Zion from now on, and to forever.

For I will set My eyes on them for good, and I will bring them back to this land. And I will build them and not tear them down; and I will plant them, and will not pluck them up.

Confess to one another the deviations from the Law, and pray for one another, that you may be healed; being very strong, the prayer of a righteous one works effectually.

This is my comfort in my affliction; for Your Word has given me life.

Call to Me, and I will answer you; and I will tell you great and inaccessible things; you do not know them.

So says Jehovah: In a favorable time I have answered You, and in a day of salvation I have helped You. And I will preserve You, and give You for a covenant of the people; to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolated inheritances;

As for God, His way is perfect; the Word of Jehovah is tested; He is a shield to all those who seek refuge in Him.

And the One sitting on the throne said, Behold! I make all things new. And He says to me, Write, because these words are faithful and true.

To the chief musician. For the sons of Korah; A song. For the Virgins. God is our refuge and strength, very much found to be a help in distresses.

And may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, for you to abound in hope, in power of the Holy Spirit.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk in the fire, you shall not be burned, and not shall the flame kindle on you.

For, behold, I create new heavens and new earth. And the former things shall not be remembered, and they shall not go up on the heart.

Blessed are those hungering now, for you will be filled. Blessed are the ones weeping now, for you will laugh.

Comfort, O comfort My people, says your God.

The Lord Jehovah has given to Me the tongue of learned ones, to know to help the weary with a word. He arouses in the morning; He wakens the ear to Me, to hear as the learned ones.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me. Because of this He anointed Me to proclaim the gospel to the poor ones; He has sent Me” to heal those being broken in heart, “to proclaim freedom to captives, and to the blind ones to see again,” to send away in freedom the ones being crushed,

Who have made me see great and evil distresses; You will turn me; You will make me live; and You will bring me up from the depths of the earth.

The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is on Me, because Jehovah has anointed Me to bear good news to the poor one. He has sent Me to bind up the broken of heart, to proclaim liberty to captives, and complete opening to the ones being bound;

For so says Jehovah: As I have brought this great evil on this people, so I will bring on them all the good that I am speaking to them.

Come to Me, all those laboring and being burdened, and I will give you rest.

Break out, sing together, waste places of Jerusalem; for Jehovah comforts His people; He has redeemed Jerusalem.

Cast on Jehovah that given to you, and He will keep you; He will not give shaking to the righteous ones forever.

It is by the kindnesses of Jehovah that we are not consumed, for His mercies are not ended.They are new by mornings; great is Your faithfulness.

So says Jehovah, Hold back your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears. For there will be a reward for your work, a statement of Jehovah, and they shall return from the land of the enemy.

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.

And I will restore to you the years which the swarming locust has eaten, the locust larvae, and the stripping locust, and the cutting locust, My great army which I sent among you.

Turn to the stronghold, O prisoners of the hope! Even today I declare I will return double to you.

For I know the purposes which I am planning for you, a statement of Jehovah; purposes of peace, and not for evil; to give you a latter time and a hope.

Those who sow in tears shall reap with a ringing cry of joy.

And when he prayed for his friends, Jehovah turned the captivity of Job; and Jehovah added to Job all which had been to him, to double.

but the ones waiting for Jehovah shall renew strength; they shall go up with wings as the eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not be faint!

So then if anyone is in Christ, that one is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have come to be new!

O God, turn us again, and make Your face shine, and we will be saved!

For I fully satisfy the weary soul, and I fill every soul that languishes.

Come and let us return to Jehovah. For He has torn, and He will heal us. He has stricken, and He will bind us up.

Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of Jehovah has risen on you!

And those who come of you shall build the wastes of old; you shall rear the foundations of generations and generations; and you shall be called, One repairing the breach, one restoring paths to live in.

He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their sorrows.

For I will bring up healing for you, and from your wounds I will heal you, a statement of Jehovah, because they called you Outcast; saying, This is Zion; no one is seeking for her.

Instead of your shame and disgrace, double. They rejoice in their portion; for they shall dispossess in their land a second time; everlasting joy shall be theirs.

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.

and My people, on whom My name is called, shall be humbled, and shall pray, and shall seek My face, and shall turn back from their evil ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

His ways I have seen, but I will heal him, and will lead him and complete comforts to him and to his mourners.

Now the God of all grace, the One having called you to His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, you having suffered a little, Himself will perfect, confirm, strengthen, establish you.

He restores my soul; He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

And I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. And I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give to you a heart of flesh.

Behold, I will bring health and healing to it, and I will heal them and will show them the abundance of peace and truth.

Do not remember former things, and do not consider the things of old.Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring up. Shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.

who satisfies your desire with good; your youth is renewed like an eagle.

For, behold, in those days and in that time, when I bring back the exiles of Judah and Jerusalem,

So says the Lord Jehovah to these bones, Behold, I will cause breath to go into you, and you shall live,

Again I will build you, and you shall be built again, O virgin of Israel. You will again put on your tambourines and go forth in the dance of those making merry.

“casting all your anxiety onto Him,” because it matters to Him concerning you. LXX-Psa. 54:23; MT-Psa. 55:22

I create the fruit of the lips: peace, peace, to the ones far off and near, says Jehovah, and I will heal him.

Will You give us life anew, so that Your people may rejoice in You?

Fear not, O land, be glad and rejoice, for Jehovah is doing great things.

They shall come with weeping, and I will lead them with supplications. I will cause them to walk by torrents of waters, in a right way; they will not stumble in it. For I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is My first-born.

I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud; and your sins like a cloud. Turn back to Me, for I have redeemed you.

Return us to You, O Jehovah, and we shall return. Renew our days as of old,

For you shall go out with joy and be led out with peace. The mountains and the hills shall break out into song before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap the palm.

I will seek the lost, and I will return the banished. And I will bind up the broken, and I will make the weak strong. But I will destroy the fat and the strong, I will feed them with judgment.

And the moonlight shall be like the light of the sun. And the sun’s light shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day of binding up, Jehovah binding the break of His people, and healing the wound of His blow.

He sent His Word and healed them; and delivered them from all their pits.

Jehovah your God is a mighty One in your midst; He will save. He will rejoice over you with joy; He is silent in His love. He rejoices over you with a joyful shout.

For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you; nor shall the covenant of My peace be removed, says Jehovah who has pity on you.

Behold, I am Jehovah, the God of all flesh. Is anything too difficult for Me?

And I will bring back the captivity of My people Israel. And they shall build the cities which are desolate and live in them. And they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine of them. They shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not gaze about, for I am your God; I will make you strong; yea, I will help you; yea, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.

You have turned my mourning into dancing for me; You have loosed my sackcloth and have clothed me with gladness.

Then the virgin shall rejoice in the dance, both young men and elders together. For I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

For Jehovah comforts Zion. He comforts all her desolations, and He makes her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of Jehovah; joy and gladness shall be found in it, thanksgiving and the voice of singing praise.

Who have made me see great and evil distresses; You will turn me; You will make me live; and You will bring me up from the depths of the earth.You will multiply my greatness and surround and comfort me.

And I will make stronger the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph. And I will return to save them, for I have pity on them. And they shall be as though I had not cast them off, for I am Jehovah their God, and I will answer them.

Return, O apostate sons; I will heal your apostasies. Behold, we come to You, for You are Jehovah our God.
