98 Verses about the Promise of Restoration

Who is a God like You, canceling iniquities, and passing over the sins of the remnant of His inheritance? And He has not kept His anger for a testimony, for He delights in mercy.He will return and have mercy upon us; He will sink our iniquities, and they shall be cast into the depth of the sea, even all our sins.

Seek the Lord, and when you find Him, call upon Him; and when He draws near to you,let the ungodly leave his ways, and the transgressor his counsels; and let him return to the Lord, and he shall find mercy; for He shall abundantly pardon your sins.

But I will show peace: the vine shall yield her fruit, and the land shall yield her produce, and the heaven shall give its dew: and I will give as an inheritance all these things to the remnant of My people.

And the poor and the needy shall rejoice; for when they shall seek water, and there shall be none, and their tongue is parched with thirst, I the Lord God, I the God of Israel will hear, and will not forsake them;but I will open rivers on the mountains, and fountains in the midst of plains; I will make the desert pools of water, and a thirsty land watercourses.

then the Lord shall heal your iniquities, and shall pity you, and shall again gather you out from all the nations, among which the Lord has scattered you.

the voice of gladness, and the voice of joy, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of men saying, Give thanks to the Lord Almighty; for the Lord is good; for His mercy endures forever. And they shall bring gifts into the house of the Lord, for I will turn all the captivity of that land as before, said the Lord.

Disclose Your way to the Lord, and trust in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.

I am He; and until you have grown old, I am He; I bear you, I have made, and I will relieve, I will take up and save you.

Therefore strengthen the hands which are weakened, and the feeble knees,and make straight paths for your feet, so that the lame may not be turned aside, but rather be healed.

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed. Save me, and I shall be saved; for You are my boast.

and said, If you will indeed hear the voice of the Lord your God, and do the things pleasing before Him, and will heed His commands, and keep all His ordinances, no disease which I have brought upon the Egyptians will I bring upon you, for I am the Lord your God that heals you.

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a steadfast spirit in my inward parts.

Therefore thus says the Lord God: Now will I turn back captivity in Jacob, and will have mercy on the house of Israel, and will be jealous for the sake of My holy name.

For a little while I left you; but with great mercy will I have compassion upon you.

I will restore their dwellings, I will love them truly: for he has turned away My wrath from him.

Therefore we do not despair, but even if our outward man is being destroyed, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

that there should be given to them that mourn in Zion glory instead of ashes, the oil of joy to the mourners, the garment of glory for the spirit of heaviness; and they shall be called generations of righteousness, the planting of the Lord for glory.

And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, it will be forgiven him.

Be glad, you thirsty desert; let the wilderness rejoice, and flower as the lily.And the desert places of the Jordan shall blossom and rejoice; the glory of Lebanon has been given to it, and the honor of Carmel; and my people shall see the glory of the Lord, and the majesty of God.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Rejoice, you heavens; and let the earth be glad; let the mountains break forth with joy; for the Lord has had mercy on His people, and has comforted the lowly ones of His people.

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

For behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will bring back the captivity of My people Israel and Judah; and I will bring them back to the land which I gave to their fathers, and they shall be masters over it, says the Lord.

He gives strength to the hungry, and sorrow to them that are not suffering.

In that day, says the Lord, I will gather her that is bruised, and will receive her that is cast out, and those whom I rejected.And I will make her that was bruised a remnant, and her that was rejected a mighty nation: and the Lord shall reign over them in Mount Zion from now on, even forever.

And I will fix My eyes upon them for good, and I will restore them into this land for good; and I will build them up, and not pull them down, and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.

Confess your transgressions to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of the righteous is very powerful.

This has comforted me in my affliction; for Your word has revived me.

Cry out to Me, and I will answer you, and I will declare to you great and mighty things, which you know not.

Thus says the Lord, In an acceptable time have I heard you, and in a day of salvation have I helped you; and I have formed you, and given you for a covenant of the nations, to establish the earth, and to cause to inherit the desert heritages;

As for the Mighty One, His way is blameless: the word of the Lord is strong and tried in the fire; He is a protector to all that put their trust in Him.

Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are faithful and true."

For the end, for the sons of Korah; A Psalm concerning secret things. God is our refuge and strength, a help in the afflictions that have come heavily upon us.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

And if you pass through water, I am with you; and the rivers shall not overflow you; and if you go through the fire, you shall not be burned; the flame shall not burn you.

For there shall be a new heaven and a new earth; and they shall not at all remember the former, neither shall they at all come into their mind.

Blessed are you who hunger now, for you shall be filled. Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh.

Comfort, yes, comfort My people, says your God.

The Lord, even God, gives me the tongue of instruction, to know when it is fit to speak a word; He has appointed for me early, He has given me an ear to hear;

"The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed;

What many and great afflictions have You shown me! Yet You turned and revived me, and brought me again from the depths of the earth.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me; He has sent Me to preach the gospel to the poor, to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind;

For thus says the Lord: As I have brought upon this people all these great evils, so will I bring upon them all the good things which I pronounced upon them.

Come to Me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.

Let the waste places of Jerusalem break forth in joy together, because the Lord has had mercy upon her, and has delivered Jerusalem.

Cast your cares upon the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

( ח ) HETH. It is through the mercies of the Lord that He has not failed me, because His compassions are not exhausted. Pity us, O Lord, early every month: for we are not brought to an end, because His compassions are not exhausted.They are new every morning: great is Your faithfulness.

Thus says the Lord: Let your voice cease from weeping, and your eyes from your tears; for your work shall be rewarded, and they shall return from the land of your enemies.

Sacrifice to God is a broken spirit; a broken and humbled heart God will not despise.

And I will recompense you for the years which the locust, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, and the cankerworm have eaten, even My great army, which I sent against you.

You shall dwell in strongholds, you prisoners of the congregation: and for one day of your captivity I will recompense you double.

And I will devise for you a plan of peace, and not evil, to bestow upon you these good things.

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

And the Lord prospered Job. And when he prayed also for his friends, He forgave them their sin: and the Lord gave Job twice as much, even double of what he had before.

but they that wait on God shall renew their strength; they shall put forth new feathers like eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Turn us, O God, and cause Your face to shine; and we shall be delivered.

For I have saturated every thirsting soul, and filled every hungry soul.

In their affliction they will seek Me early, saying, Let us go, and return to the Lord our God; for He has torn, and will heal us; He will smite, and bind us up.

Be enlightened, be enlightened, O Jerusalem, for your light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you!

And your old waste desert places shall be built up, and your foundations shall last through all generations; and you shall be called a repairer of breaches, and you shall cause your paths between to be in peace.

He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds.

For I will bring about your healing, I will heal you of your grievous wound, says the Lord; for you are called Dispersed: she is your prey, for no one seeks after her.

Thus shall they inherit the land a second time, and everlasting joy shall be upon their head.

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation; establish me with Your directing Spirit.

then if My people, on whom My name is called, should repent, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their evil ways, I also will hear from heaven, and I will be merciful to their sins, and I will heal their land.

I have seen his ways, and healed him, and comforted him, and given him true comfort;

But may the God of all grace, the One having called you into His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, may He Himself make you complete--He will establish, strengthen, and firmly ground you.

He has restored my soul; He has guided me into the paths of righteousness, for His name's sake.

And I will give you a new heart, and will put a new spirit in you: and I will take away the heart of stone out of your flesh, and will give you a heart of flesh.

Behold, I bring upon her healing and cure, and I will show Myself to them, and will heal her, and make both peace and security.

Remember not the former things, and consider not the ancient things.Behold, I will do new things, which shall presently spring forth, and you shall know them; and I will make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the dry land;

who satisfies your desire with good things; so that your youth shall be renewed like that of the eagle.

For behold, in those days and at that time, when I shall have turned the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,

Thus says the Lord to these bones: Behold, I will bring upon you the breath of life;

For I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin of Israel. You shall yet take your timbrel, and go forth with the party of them that make merry.

casting all your anxiety upon Him, because He cares about you.

peace upon peace to them that are far off, and to them that are close by; and the Lord has said, I will heal them.

O God, turn and revive us; and Your people shall rejoice in You.

Be of good courage, O land; rejoice and be glad, for the Lord has done great things.

They went forth with weeping, and I will bring them back with consolation, causing them to lodge by the channels of waters in a straight way, and they shall not err in it: for I have become a father to Israel, and Ephraim is My firstborn.

For behold, I have blotted your transgressions out as a cloud, and your sin as darkness; turn to Me, and I will redeem you.

Turn us to You, O Lord, and we shall be turned; and renew our days as before.

For you shall go forth with joy, and shall be taught with gladness; for the mountains and the hills shall exalt to welcome you with joy, and all the trees of the field shall applaud with their branches.

I will seek that which is lost, and I will recover the stray one, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen the fainting, and will guard the strong, and will feed them with judgment.

And the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold in the day when the Lord shall heal the breach of His people, and shall heal the pain of your wound.

He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them out of their destructions.

The Lord your God is in you; the Mighty One shall save you: He shall bring joy upon you, and shall refresh you with His love; and He shall rejoice over you with delight as in a day of feasting.

shall the mountains depart, nor shall your hills be removed; so neither shall My mercy fail you, nor shall the covenant of your peace be at all removed; for the Lord who is gracious to you has spoken it.

I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: shall anything be hidden from Me?

And I will turn the captivity of My people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities, and shall inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and shall drink the wine from them; and they shall form gardens, and eat the fruit of them.

Fear not; for I am with you; wander not; for I am your God, who has strengthened you; and I have helped you, and have established you with My righteous right hand.

You have turned my mourning into joy for me; You have removed my sackcloth, and have clothed me with gladness;

Then shall the virgins rejoice in the assembly of youth, and the old men shall rejoice; and I will turn their mourning into joy, and will make them merry.

And now I will comfort you, O Zion; and I have comforted all her desert places; and I will make her desert places as a garden, and her western places as the garden of the Lord; they shall find in her gladness and exaltation, thanksgiving and the voice of praise.

What many and great afflictions have You shown me! Yet You turned and revived me, and brought me again from the depths of the earth.You multiplied Your righteousness, and turned and comforted me, and brought me again out of the depths of the earth.

And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and save the house of Joseph, and I will settle them; because I have loved them: and they shall be as if I had not cast them off: for I am the Lord their God, and I will hear them.

Turn, you children that are given to turning, and I will heal your bruises. Behold, we will be Your servants; for You are the Lord our God.
