Through Christ's blood, you are justified. There's no condemnation for you when you come to God with a repentant heart. Believe that when you ask Jesus for forgiveness, you receive His mercy, and your soul is freed from the final punishment meant for those who don't turn away from their wrongdoings.
It's important to remember that the devil will constantly try to bring up your past to keep you from moving forward. He'll bring back thoughts of things God has already forgiven, just to make you feel guilty.
Nothing you do earns God's love. He's so good that His love isn't based on your actions. He loved you before the creation of the world and sent His Son to die for you, pulling you out of darkness through His blood and establishing a relationship with you.
So, whenever Satan tries to intimidate you and pull you away from God's presence, stand firm. Declare that through Jesus' sacrifice, you are justified before the Father. The sin that's been haunting you is removed, making you righteous. The shame that tormented you is forgotten, and you are repositioned with Christ in heavenly places.
Romans 5:1 reminds us that, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
but it is the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction,
Therefore the Law has become our guardian to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith.
and through Him everyone who believes is freed from all things, from which you could not be freed through the Law of Moses.
But My righteous one will live by faith; And if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him.
But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness,
Now, that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, “the righteous one will live by faith.”
and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith,
I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by the Law; you have fallen from grace.
For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written: “But the righteous one will live by faith.”
since indeed God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith is one.
but for our sake also, to whom it will be credited, to us who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,He who was delivered over because of our wrongdoings, and was raised because of our justification.
nevertheless, knowing that a person is not justified by works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law; since by works of the Law no flesh will be justified.
Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
So then, as through one offense the result was condemnation to all mankind, so also through one act of righteousness the result was justification of life to all mankind.
and He Himself brought our sins in His body up on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness; by His wounds you were healed.
But it is due to Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption,
And although you were previously alienated and hostile in attitude, engaged in evil deeds, yet He has now reconciled you in His body of flesh through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach—
And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him.
Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.
He who was delivered over because of our wrongdoings, and was raised because of our justification.
He who vindicates Me is near; Who will contend with Me? Let us stand up to each other. Who has a case against Me? Let him approach Me.Behold, the Lord God helps Me; Who is he who condemns Me? Behold, they will all wear out like a garment; A moth will eat them.
“No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; And you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their vindication is from Me,” declares the Lord.
And do not enter into judgment with Your servant, For no person living is righteous in Your sight.
As a result of the anguish of His soul, He will see it and be satisfied; By His knowledge the Righteous One, My Servant, will justify the many, For He will bear their wrongdoings.
so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only this, but we also celebrate in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation. Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all mankind, because all sinned—for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not counted against anyone when there is no law.Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the violation committed by Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come. But the gracious gift is not like the offense. For if by the offense of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many. The gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned; for on the one hand the judgment arose from one offense, resulting in condemnation, but on the other hand the gracious gift arose from many offenses, resulting in justification. For if by the offense of the one, death reigned through the one, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. So then, as through one offense the result was condemnation to all mankind, so also through one act of righteousness the result was justification of life to all mankind. For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.through whom we also have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we celebrate in hope of the glory of God.
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our wrongdoings, according to the riches of His grace
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
How blessed is he whose wrongdoing is forgiven, Whose sin is covered! The sorrows of the wicked are many, But the one who trusts in the Lord, goodness will surround him.Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous ones; And shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart. How blessed is a person whose guilt the Lord does not take into account, And in whose spirit there is no deceit!
Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus,Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, because the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have had consciousness of sins?by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, through His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God,let’s approach God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work among you will complete it by the day of Christ Jesus.
And when you were dead in your wrongdoings and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our wrongdoings, having canceled the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was granted to us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,
so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons and daughters.
Therefore let’s approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help at the time of our need.
Therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus. If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. So then, brothers and sisters, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh—for if you are living in accord with the flesh, you are going to die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons and daughters of God.For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons and daughters by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God,and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.For the eagerly awaiting creation waits for the revealing of the sons and daughters of God.For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.
I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.”
But the gracious gift is not like the offense. For if by the offense of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many.
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hopethat the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.And not only that, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons and daughters, the redemption of our body. For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, through perseverance we wait eagerly for it.Now in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know what to pray for as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters; For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?Who will bring charges against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies;who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, but rather, was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or trouble, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?Just as it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We were regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
For Christ also suffered for sins once for all time, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;
For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, attained righteousness, but the righteousness that is by faith;
It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.
My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous;
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
I acknowledged my sin to You, And I did not hide my guilt; I said, “I will confess my wrongdoings to the Lord”; And You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah
For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”
yet He has now reconciled you in His body of flesh through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach—
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.
Be gracious to me, God, according to Your faithfulness; According to the greatness of Your compassion, wipe out my wrongdoings.¶Create in me a clean heart, God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And sustain me with a willing spirit. Then I will teach wrongdoers Your ways, And sinners will be converted to You. ¶Save me from the guilt of bloodshed, God, the God of my salvation; Then my tongue will joyfully sing of Your righteousness.Lord, open my lips, So that my mouth may declare Your praise. For You do not delight in sacrifice, otherwise I would give it; You do not take pleasure in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, God, You will not despise.¶By Your favor do good to Zion; Build the walls of Jerusalem. Then You will delight in righteous sacrifices, In burnt offering and whole burnt offering; Then bulls will be offered on Your altar.Wash me thoroughly from my guilt And cleanse me from my sin.
because by the works of the Law none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes knowledge of sin. But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, but it is the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction,
For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and mankind, the Man Christ Jesus,
But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,even when we were dead in our wrongdoings, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable, undefiled, and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, eager for good deeds.
Then Phinehas stood up and intervened, And so the plague was brought to a halt. And it was credited to him as righteousness, To all generations forever.
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
But the Scripture has confined everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor, not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation.Never repay evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all people. If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all people.Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written: “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in time of trouble.Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart. The Lord helps them and rescues them; He rescues them from the wicked and saves them, Because they take refuge in Him.
For as many as the promises of God are, in Him they are yes; therefore through Him also is our Amen to the glory of God through us.
Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.and have put on the new self, which is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created it—a renewal in which there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, and free, but Christ is all, and in all. So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience;bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so must you do also.In addition to all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.Let the peace of Christ, to which you were indeed called in one body, rule in your hearts; and be thankful.Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.Whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.Husbands, love your wives and do not become bitter against them.Set your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth.Children, obey your parents in everything, for this is pleasing to the Lord.Fathers, do not antagonize your children, so that they will not become discouraged. Slaves, obey those who are your human masters in everything, not with eye-service, as people-pleasers, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord.Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord and not for people, knowing that it is from the Lord that you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve. For the one who does wrong will receive the consequences of the wrong which he has done, and that without partiality. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
just as David also speaks of the blessing of the person to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:“Blessed are those whose lawless deeds have been forgiven, And whose sins have been covered.“Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will not take into account.”
how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
The Lord redeems the souls of His servants, And none of those who take refuge in Him will suffer for their guilt.
He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we did in righteousness, but in accordance with His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
Through these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world on account of lust.
through whom we also have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we celebrate in hope of the glory of God.
For I would have you know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel which was preached by me is not of human invention. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.
for the demonstration, that is, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
For the Lord loves justice And does not abandon His godly ones; They are protected forever, But the descendants of the wicked will be eliminated.
“ Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.
For whoever has been born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith. Who is the one who overcomes the world, but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as though they could by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone, just as it is written: “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense, And the one who believes in Him will not be put to shame.”
Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and reliable and one which enters within the veil,of instruction about washings and laying on of hands, and about the resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment.where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.
For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.through whom we also have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we celebrate in hope of the glory of God.The Law came in so that the offense would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,so that, as sin reigned in death, so also grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. And not only this, but we also celebrate in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus, whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in God’s merciful restraint He let the sins previously committed go unpunished;for the demonstration, that is, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
Now to the one who works, the wages are not credited as a favor, but as what is due.But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness,
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Who will bring charges against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies;who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, but rather, was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.
He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
