Life throws curveballs, right? It tests you, refines you, and ultimately teaches you to lean on God with all your heart. Think of it this way: even the toughest situations are blessings in disguise, drawing you closer to Him.
When you're feeling overwhelmed and desperate, lift your hands up and cry out to God. Before you turn to anyone else, seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit, who will send angels to your aid.
Find refuge in Jesus, your shield and protector. He’s powerful enough to set you free and conquer your fears. Reaching out to God always brings peace and immeasurable rewards.
Remember Psalm 121:1: "My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." Jesus is there for you 24/7, offering comfort, relief, and healing. Place your life in His hands and allow His perfect will to unfold in your life.
His love will always look out for you, and there's no safer place than in His presence.
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.
“Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you.
Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
But don’t forget to be doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered.
So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
Help us, God of our salvation, for the glory of your name. Deliver us, and forgive our sins, for your name’s sake.
The LORD is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
and if you pour out your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light will rise in darkness, and your obscurity will be as the noonday;
He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity,
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more.
Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need.
For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I will help you.’
Nevertheless, he who comforts the lowly, God, comforted us by the coming of Titus,
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burnt, and flame will not scorch you.
I waited patiently for the LORD. He turned to me, and heard my cry. I have not hidden your righteousness within my heart. I have declared your faithfulness and your salvation. I have not concealed your loving kindness and your truth from the great assembly. Don’t withhold your tender mercies from me, LORD. Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me. For innumerable evils have surrounded me. My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up. They are more than the hairs of my head. My heart has failed me. Be pleased, LORD, to deliver me. Hurry to help me, LORD. Let them be disappointed and confounded together who seek after my soul to destroy it. Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonour who delight in my hurt. Let them be desolate by reason of their shame that tell me, “Aha! Aha!” Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let such as love your salvation say continually, “Let the LORD be exalted!” But I am poor and needy. May the Lord think about me. You are my help and my deliverer. Don’t delay, my God. He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay. He set my feet on a rock, and gave me a firm place to stand.
The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
each of you not just looking to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others.
I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.”
We exhort you, brothers: Admonish the disorderly; encourage the faint-hearted; support the weak; be patient towards all.
The LORD is on my side amongst those who help me. Therefore I will look in triumph at those who hate me.
A man of many companions may be ruined, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
My soul rests in God alone. My salvation is from him. Don’t trust in oppression. Don’t become vain in robbery. If riches increase, don’t set your heart on them. God has spoken once; twice I have heard this, that power belongs to God. Also to you, Lord, belongs loving kindness, for you reward every man according to his work. He alone is my rock, my salvation, and my fortress. I will never be greatly shaken.
“Come to me, all you who labour and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. and said to him, “Are you he who comes, or should we look for another?” For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honour prefer one another,
But I am poor and needy. May the Lord think about me. You are my help and my deliverer. Don’t delay, my God.
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work.
He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honour him.
Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance;
for I was hungry and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you took me in.
But God commends his own love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
The LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
But whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, then closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him?
I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.”
For I know that this will turn out to my salvation through your prayers and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,
For the mountains may depart, and the hills be removed, but my loving kindness will not depart from you, and my covenant of peace will not be removed,” says the LORD who has mercy on you.
Now the God of perseverance and of encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, that with one accord you may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
You are my hiding place. You will preserve me from trouble. You will surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.
For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don’t use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.
Therefore the LORD will wait, that he may be gracious to you; and therefore he will be exalted, that he may have mercy on you, for the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for him.
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot. “Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honour him. I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation.” I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”
and the LORD will guide you continually, satisfy your soul in dry places, and make your bones strong. You will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters don’t fail.
The LORD is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?
Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.
Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones.
As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms.
LORD, you have searched me, and you know me. even there your hand will lead me, and your right hand will hold me. If I say, “Surely the darkness will overwhelm me. The light around me will be night,” even the darkness doesn’t hide from you, but the night shines as the day. The darkness is like light to you. For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. My frame wasn’t hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is their sum! If I would count them, they are more in number than the sand. When I wake up, I am still with you. If only you, God, would kill the wicked. Get away from me, you bloodthirsty men! You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar.
Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas;
No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in justice. For days beyond a year you will be troubled, you careless women; for the vintage will fail. The harvest won’t come. Tremble, you women who are at ease! Be troubled, you careless ones! Strip yourselves, make yourselves naked, and put sackcloth on your waist. Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine. Thorns and briers will come up on my people’s land; yes, on all the houses of joy in the joyous city. For the palace will be forsaken. The populous city will be deserted. The hill and the watchtower will be for dens forever, a delight for wild donkeys, a pasture of flocks, until the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is considered a forest. Then justice will dwell in the wilderness; and righteousness will remain in the fruitful field. The work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever. My people will live in a peaceful habitation, in safe dwellings, and in quiet resting places, though hail flattens the forest, and the city is levelled completely. A man shall be as a hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the storm, as streams of water in a dry place, as the shade of a large rock in a weary land.
Therefore don’t be like them, for your Father knows what things you need before you ask him.
Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them, for the LORD your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you.”
Then Samuel took a stone and set it between Mizpah and Shen, and called its name Ebenezer, saying, “The LORD helped us until now.”
May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble. May the name of the God of Jacob set you up on high, send you help from the sanctuary, grant you support from Zion,
Help me, LORD, my God. Save me according to your loving kindness; that they may know that this is your hand; that you, LORD, have done it.
Though I walk in the middle of trouble, you will revive me. You will stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies. Your right hand will save me.
