Yerushalayim is built As a city that is bound together,
Jerusalem is builded As a city that is compact together:
Jerusalem, which is built as a city that is compacted together–
Jerusalem, that art builded As a city that is compact together;
Jerusalem is built like a city joined together in unity.
Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us. For we have been filled with utter disdain.
Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us: for we are greatly filled with contempt.
And Dawiḏ dwelt in the stronghold, and called it the City of Dawiḏ. And Dawiḏ built all around from the Millo and inward.
So we built the wall, and the entire wall was joined together up to the half of it, for the people had a heart to work.
