“And if a house is divided against itself, that house is unable to stand.

And if a house is divided (split into factions and rebelling) against itself, that house will not be able to last.
And if a house be divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.
And a house torn apart by divisions will collapse.
And if a house is divided against itself, that house is not able to stand.
But when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and were not able to speak peaceably to him.
See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity –
“And if a reign is divided against itself, that reign is unable to stand.
“And if Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he is unable to stand, but has an end.
And if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!
For where jealousy and self-seeking are, there is confusion and every foul deed.
