But the chief priests and elders persuaded the crowds that they should ask for Barabba and to destroy יהושע.
And Pilate answered and again said to them, “What then do you wish me to do to Him whom you call the Sovereign of the Yehuḏim?”
Then they all shouted again, saying, “Not this One, but Barabba!” And Barabba was a robber.
