Yet they tried and rebelled Against the Most High Elohim, And did not guard His witnesses,
Therefore the people strove with Mosheh, and said, “Give us water to drink.” And Mosheh said to them, “Why do you strive with me? Why do you try יהוה ?”
To the Torah and to the witness! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because they have no daybreak.

יהושע said to them, “Did you never read in the Scriptures, ‘The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief corner-stone. This was from יהוה, and it is marvellous in our eyes’?
Then יהושע said to him, “Go, Satan! For it has been written, ‘You shall worship יהוה your Elohim, and Him alone you shall serve.’ ”
But He answering, said, “It has been written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of יהוה.’ ”
And יהושע answering, said to him, “It has been said, ‘You shall not try יהוה your Elohim.’ ”
“Now then, why do you try Elohim by putting a yoke on the neck of the taught ones which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
neither let us try Messiah, as some of them also tried, and were destroyed by serpents,
