“You know that after two days the Passover takes place, and the Son of Aḏ
But they said, “Not at the festival lest there be an uproar among the people.”
And the scribes and the chief priests heard it and they were seeking how to destroy Him, for they feared Him, because all the crowd was astonished at His teaching.
“But if we say, ‘From men’ ” – they feared the people, for all held that Yoḥ
Now the Passover and the Festival of Unleavened Bread was after two days. And the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how to take Him through treachery and put Him to death.
“But if we say, ‘From men,’ all the people shall stone us, for they are persuaded that Yoḥ
And the Festival of Unleavened Bread drew near, which is called Passover.
The Pharisees then said among themselves, “You see how you are getting nowhere at all. Look, the world has gone after Him!”
Many from the crowd, when they heard the word, then said, “This truly is the Prophet.”
