And he said, “Blessed be יהוה, the Elohim of Shĕ


Pul the sovereign of Ashshur came against the land. And Menaḥ


While he was still speaking, another also came and said, “The Chaldeans formed three bands, and made a raid on the camels and took them away, and they smote the servants with the edge of the sword. And I alone have escaped to inform you!”


And it shall be in that day that יהוה  sets His hand again a second time to recover the remnant of His people who are left, from Ashshur and from Mitsrayim, from Pathros and from Kush, from Ě


A distressing vision is revealed to me: the treacherous betrays, and the ravager ravages. Go up, O Ě


“And I shall set a sign among them, and shall send some of those who escape to the nations – Tarshish and Pul and Luḏ


and all the sovereigns of Zimri, and all the sovereigns of Ě


And I looked in the vision, and it came to be while I was looking, that I was in the citadel of Shushan, which is in the province of Ě


And he took up his proverb and said, “Balaq the sovereign of Mo’aḇ


but Qayin is to be burned. Till when does Asshur keep you captive?”
