And he dwelt in the Wilderness of Paran, and his mother took a wife for him from the land of Mitsrayim.
And they went and came to Mosheh and Aharon and all the congregation of the children of Yisra’ĕ
And by the command of יהוה Mosheh sent them from the Wilderness of Paran, all of them men who were heads of the children of Yisra’ĕ
And they said, “If we have found favour in your eyes, let this land be given to your servants as a possession, and do not let us pass over the Yardĕ
“The two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Yardĕ
These are the words of the covenant which יהוה commanded Mosheh to make with the children of Yisra’ĕ
“And now יהוה your Elohim has given rest to your brothers, as He promised them. So now, return and go to your tents and to the land of your possession, which Mosheh the servant of יהוה gave you beyond the Yardĕ
And to half the tribe of Menashsheh Mosheh had given a possession in Bashan, but to the other half of it Yehoshua gave land among their brothers beyond the Yardĕ
that the waters which came down from upstream stood still, and rose in a heap very far away at Aḏ
and all that He had done to the two sovereigns of the Amorites who were beyond the Yardĕ
