And he did evil in the eyes of יהוה his Elohim. He did not humble himself before Yirmeyahu the prophet, who spoke from the mouth of יהוה.

To him, then, who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.
But He gives greater favour. Because of this He says, “Elohim resists the proud, but gives favour to the humble.”
