Awfully and swiftly shall he come upon you; Because a stern judgement befalleth them that be in high place:

then he’ll fall upon you very suddenly and very terribly. Judgment falls hard on those in high places.

For, when you were ministers of his kingdom, you did not judge correctly, nor keep the law of justice, nor walk according to the will of God.

you will suffer sudden and terrible punishment. Judgment is especially severe on those in power.

He will come upon you awfully and swiftly, because a stern judgment comes on those who are in high places.

So now the Lord will punish you both quickly and harshly because you are in power.
