The proud and haughty man, scorner is his name, He worketh in the arrogance of pride.


Go not forth hastily to strive, Lest thou know not what to do in the end thereof, When thy neighbour hath put thee to shame.


He that is of a greedy spirit stirreth up strife: But he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat.


And there arose also a contention among them, which of them is accounted to be greatest.


he is puffed up, knowing nothing, but doting about questionings and disputes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,


Whence come wars and whence come fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your pleasures that war in your members?


And it was so, that all that saw it said, There was no such deed done nor seen from the day that the children of Israel came up out of the land of Egypt unto this day: consider of it, take counsel, and speak.
