And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.
For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.
But I say to you, that whoever looks at a woman in order to lust after her has already committed adultery [with] her in his heart.
"But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife, except for a matter of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery; and whoever marries a divorcee commits adultery.
But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,
And so it was, when Jesus finished these words, the crowds were astonished at His teaching,
And Jesus said to them, "Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things."
for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict nor to withstand.
And they were not able to withstand the wisdom and the Spirit with which he spoke.
