Judas went and talked with the leading priests and some of the soldiers who guarded the temple. {\cf2\super [342]} Judas talked to them about a way to give Jesus to them.


Judas agreed. Then Judas waited for the best time to give Jesus to them. Judas wanted to do it when there were no people around to see him do it.


(Judas was paid money for doing this. His money was used to buy him a field. But Judas fell on his head, and his body broke open. All his intestines poured out.


Peter said to Simon, “You and your money should both be destroyed! You thought you could buy God’s gift with money.


These false teachers left the right way and went the wrong way. They followed the same way that Balaam went. Balaam was the son of Beor. He loved being paid for doing wrong.


Those false teachers only want your money. So they will use you by telling you things that are not true. But the judgment against those false teachers has been ready for a long time. And they will not escape the One (God) who will destroy them.
