1 Therefore thus saith the Lord: Behold, I will bring destruction upon this people, by which fathers and sons together shall fall, neighbor and kinsman shall perish.


8 My sorrow is above sorrow, my heart mourneth within me.


And now, O Lord, I beseech thee take my life from me: for it is better for me to die than to live.


9 Now there came thither certain Jews from Antioch, and Iconium: and persuading the multitude, and stoning Paul, drew him out of the city, thinking him to be dead.


4 Where, finding brethren, we were desired to tarry with them seven days: and so we went to Rome.


For I judged not myself to know anything among you, but Jesus Christ, and him crucified.


8 Besides those things which are without: my daily instance, the solicitude for all the churches.


3 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind:


1 Whereas angels who are greater in strength and power, bring not against themselves a railing judgment.


2 And he executed all the power of the former beast in his sight; and he caused the earth, and them that dwell therein, to adore the first beast, whose wound to death was healed.
