He said to them, ‘You men also go and work in my vineyard, and I will pay you whatever is right.’ So, they went to work.
But Jesus answered him, “Become my follower, and let the [spiritually] dead bury them” [i.e., let a person’s relatives care for their own family members until they die].
And so it happened, as Jesus was having a meal at Matthew’s house, a number of [other] tax collectors and worldly people came to sit down with Him and His disciples.

Upon arriving at the house where they were staying, they went upstairs.
