And it happened when the time came for Jesus to be taken up [to heaven] that He firmly determined to go to Jerusalem.
So, when He heard that Lazarus was sick, He stayed where He was [i.e., on the east side of the Jordan River. See 10:40] for two [more] days.
Then after some days Paul suggested to Barnabas, “Let us go back and visit the brothers in all the towns where we proclaimed the message of the Lord, to see how they are doing.”
