Both of them were righteous before God, living blamelessly according to all the commandments and regulations of the Lord.


So, if those who are uncircumcised keep the requirements of the law, will not their uncircumcision be regarded as circumcision?


Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law.


I ask that when I am present I need not show boldness by daring to oppose those who think we are acting according to human standards.


Indeed, we live as human beings, but we do not wage war according to human standards;


Live by the Spirit, I say, and do not gratify the desires of the flesh.


he has now reconciled in his fleshly body through death, so as to present you holy and blameless and irreproachable before him—


and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect,


Beloved, we are God's children now; what we will be has not yet been revealed. What we do know is this: when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is.


Now to him who is able to keep you from falling, and to make you stand without blemish in the presence of his glory with rejoicing,


and in their mouth no lie was found; they are blameless.
