Because there is an ear of jealousy that listeneth to all things, And the noise of murmurings is not hid.

God’s ear listens intently to everything anyone says. Murmurings can’t be kept secret for long.

For the zealous ear hears all things, and the disturbance of complaining will not be hidden.

For the ear of jealousy heareth all things, and the tumult of murmuring shall not be hid.

God will tolerate no challenge, and since he hears everything, you cannot hide your complaining from him.

Nothing can escape being heard, not even a faint grumble.
