And David dwelt in the strong hold; therefore they called it the city of David.


And it came to pass, as the ark of the covenant of the LORD came to the city of David, that Michal the daughter of Saul looked out at the window, and saw king David dancing and playing; and she despised him in her heart.


Be thou exalted, O LORD, in thy strength: So will we sing and praise thy power.


Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render thank offerings unto thee.


My soul waiteth only upon God: From him cometh my salvation.


Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: Let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.


In Salem also is his tabernacle, And his dwelling place in Zion.
