And he was with them hid in the house of God six years: and Athaliah reigned over the land.


And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, the Jews had gladness and joy, a feast and a good day. And many from among the peoples of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews was fallen upon them.


They turn the needy out of the way: The poor of the earth hide themselves together.


When the righteous triumph, there is great glory: But when the wicked rise, men hide themselves.


He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: But he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.


He that being often reproved hardeneth his neck Shall suddenly be broken, and that without remedy.


When the righteous are increased, the people rejoice: But when a wicked man beareth rule, the people sigh.
