All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like unto thee, Which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, Yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?


Walk with wise men, and thou shalt be wise: But the companion of fools shall smart for it.


He also that is slack in his work Is brother to him that is a destroyer.


He that spoileth his father, and chaseth away his mother, Is a son that causeth shame and bringeth reproach.


He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; For he giveth of his bread to the poor.


Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: But he that is a companion of gluttonous men shameth his father.


And he said unto his mother, The eleven hundred pieces of silver that were taken from thee, about which thou didst utter a curse, and didst also speak it in mine ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it. And his mother said, Blessed be my son of the LORD.
