And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;


And they told the king, saying, Behold, Nathan the prophet. And when he was come in before the king, he bowed himself before the king with his face to the ground.


Let me not, I pray you, respect any man's person; Neither will I give flattering titles unto any man.


For I know not to give flattering titles; Else would my Maker soon take me away.


Let the righteous smite me, it shall be a kindness; And let him reprove me, it shall be as oil upon the head; Let not my head refuse it: For even in their wickedness shall my prayer continue.


But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, And a good blessing shall come upon them.


A man that flattereth his neighbour Spreadeth a net for his steps.


And if thy brother sin against thee, go, shew him his fault between thee and him alone: if he hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
