And Absalom said unto him, See, thy matters are good and right; but there is no man deputed of the king to hear thee.


Well is it with the man that dealeth graciously and lendeth; He shall maintain his cause in judgement.


The nations are sunk down in the pit that they made: In the net which they hid is their own foot taken.


Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, And be filled with their own devices.


Whoso loveth correction loveth knowledge: But he that hateth reproof is brutish.


He that is soon angry will deal foolishly: And a man of wicked devices is hated.


Do they not err that devise evil? But mercy and truth shall be to them that devise good.


So shalt thou find favour and good understanding In the sight of God and man.


An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, Feet that be swift in running to mischief;


For whoso findeth me findeth life, And shall obtain favour of the LORD.


There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power over the day of death; and there is no discharge in that war: neither shall wickedness deliver him that is given to it.


for he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.


For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: for peradventure for the good man some one would even dare to die.
