And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh; every one that heareth will laugh with me.


And they offered great sacrifices that day, and rejoiced; for God had made them rejoice with great joy; and the women also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.


But none saith, Where is God my Maker, Who giveth songs in the night;


At destruction and dearth thou shalt laugh; Neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.


Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.


When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, We were like unto them that dream.


Then was our mouth filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing: Then said they among the nations, The LORD hath done great things for them.


Though he goeth on his way weeping, bearing forth the seed; He shall come again with joy, bringing his sheaves with him.


Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: And shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.


Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: Break forth and sing for joy, yea, sing praises.


Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.
