And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the Plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, like the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou goest unto Zoar.


The lotus trees cover him with their shadow; The willows of the brook compass him about.


Shall any take him when he is on the watch, Or pierce through his nose with a snare?


I would haste me to a shelter From the stormy wind and tempest.


therefore thus saith the Lord GOD Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone of sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.


I have digged and drunk water, and with the sole of my feet will I dry up all the rivers of Egypt.


and when they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brink of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all its banks all the time of harvest,)
