He mocketh at fear, and is not dismayed; Neither turneth he back from the sword.


Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoiceth as a strong man to run his course.


The horse is prepared against the day of battle: But victory is of the LORD.


I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: no man repenteth him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one turneth to his course, as a horse that rusheth headlong in the battle.


Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:


Then did the horsehoofs stamp by reason of the pransings, the pransings of their strong ones.


And when the Philistine looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and withal of a fair countenance.
