The LORD thundered from heaven, and the Most High uttered his voice.


When he made a decree for the rain, And a way for the lightning of the thunder:


Yea, can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, The thunderings of his pavilion?


The noise thereof telleth concerning him, The cattle also concerning the storm that cometh up.


At this also my heart trembleth, And is moved out of its place.


After it a voice roareth; He thundereth with the voice of his majesty: And he stayeth them not when his voice is heard.


God thundereth marvelously with his voice; Great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend


Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,


Or hast thou an arm like God? And canst thou thunder with a voice like him?


At thy rebuke they fled; At the voice of thy thunder they hasted away;


when he uttereth his voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasuries.
