A sound of terrors is in his ears; In prosperity the spoiler shall come upon him:


He shall not be rich, neither shall his substance continue, Neither shall their produce bend to the earth.


He shall have neither son nor son's son among his people, Nor any remaining where he sojourned.


Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no room, and ye be made to dwell alone in the midst of the land!


In mine ears saith the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.


As the partridge that gathereth young which she hath not brought forth, so is he that getteth riches, and not by right; in the midst of his days they shall leave him, and at his end he shall be a fool.


For they know not to do right, saith the LORD, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.


Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD An adversary there shall be, even round about the land: and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled.
