For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, And that the tender branch thereof will not cease.


Yet through the scent of water it will bud, And put forth boughs like a plant.


Thy dead shall live; my dead bodies shall arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in the dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast forth the dead.


Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a grain of wheat fall into the earth and die, it abideth by itself alone; but if it die, it beareth much fruit.
