But the ungodly shall be all of them as thorns to be thrust away, for they cannot be taken with the hand:


But the man that toucheth them must be armed with iron and the staff of a spear; and they shall be utterly burned with fire in their place.


He will not always chide; Neither will he keep his anger for ever.


Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: Thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.


And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day.


And in that day thou shalt say, I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD; for though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortest me.


And the peoples shall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut down, that are burned in the fire.


For wickedness burneth as the fire; it devoureth the briers and thorns: yea, it kindleth in the thickets of the forest, and they roll upward in thick clouds of smoke.


For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end.
