And it came to pass, while Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father's concubine: and Israel heard of it. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve:


And he overtook them, and he spake unto them these words.


Behold, the money, which we found in our sacks' mouths, we brought again unto thee out of the land of Canaan: how then should we steal out of thy lord's house silver or gold?


And Joab answered and said, Far be it, far be it from me, that I should swallow up or destroy.


And Hazael said, But what is thy servant, which is but a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha answered, The LORD hath shewed me that thou shalt be king over Syria.


A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, And loving favour rather than silver and gold.


A Good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one's birth.


Pray for us: for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience, desiring to live honestly in all things.
