And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years:


Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; And sealeth up the stars.


And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days;


Whoso curseth his father or his mother, His lamp shall be put out in the blackest darkness.


or ever the sun, and the light, and the moon, and the stars, be darkened, and the clouds return after the rain:


For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.


And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fade away, as the leaf fadeth from off the vine, and as a fading leaf from the fig tree.


The earth quaketh before them; the heavens tremble: the sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining:


And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be with brightness and with gloom:
