Moses and Aaron among his priests, And Samuel among them that call on his name; They called upon the LORD, and he answered them.
Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.
And beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he interpreted to them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
opening and alleging, that it behoved the Christ to suffer, and to rise again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom, said he, I proclaim unto you, is the Christ.
how that the Christ must suffer, and how that he first by the resurrection of the dead should proclaim light both to the people and to the Gentiles.

And all Israel from Dan even to Beer-sheba knew that Samuel was established to be a prophet of the LORD.
