All these were sons of Jediael; according to the heads of their father's houses, mighty men of valour, seventeen thousand and two hundred, that were able to go forth in the host for war.


For he said unto Judah, Let us build these cities, and make about them walls, and towers, gates, and bars; the land is yet before us, because we have sought the LORD our God; we have sought him, and he hath given us rest on every side. So they built and prospered.


And Asa had an army that bare bucklers and spears, out of Judah three hundred thousand; and out of Benjamin, that bare shields and drew bows, two hundred and fourscore thousand: an these were mighty men of valour.

and next to him Jehozabad, and with him an hundred and fourscore thousand ready prepared for war.


Of the children of Benjamin, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
