And on the five and twentieth day of the month they sacrificed upon the idol altar, which was upon the altar of God.

And they cut up the books of the law of God and destroyed them with fire.

And they cut in pieces, and burnt with fire the books of the law of God:

On the twenty-fifth of the month, these same evil people offered sacrifices on the pagan altar erected on top of the altar in the Temple.
