And Arpachshad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.
And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.
Arpachshad was the father of Shelah, Shelah of Eber.
Arpachshad was Shelah’s father, and Shelah was Eber’s father.
Then Arphaxad conceived Shelah, who also himself conceived Eber.
And Arphaxad begot Sale, and Sale begot Heber.
And Arpachshad begat Shelah; and Shelah begat Eber.
The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.
